Bought a 1999 pontiac grand am from these people about 2 years ago.everything was ok until my car started to overheat. I was paying these people 200$ every 2 weeks for this car and after rent and everything I need to survive was paid, I didnt have a lot of money to get the car looked at. I spoke to someone at the forney location and they basically said it's not there problem. The ac went out in the car and I live in texas where we had over 60 days over 100% temps.

I then informed them that it was a leak in my ac line and that's why it's not working. And again they basically said it's not there problem and asked if I was still going to be making payments. I did the best I could but they called from an automated line and sent a letter in threw mail stating they were going to reposes my vehicle. I was still behind but continued to make some type of payment, but eventually the engine head cracked on the car.

Not to mention when I first got the car it was a misfire on a cylinder as well. I spoke to someone at the forney location and they stated they would put me in another vehicle since I was a valued customer. The buckner location and the people at forney seems like they don't communicate at ask because when I went up there and told them the situation they said no one has let them know anything

After about an hour or so, someone finally got the correct info from forney so they said all I would have to do is resign the paperwork. I told them my pay days changed from the original contact date but they didn't change it. They also told me they were going to total the pontiac put the remaining balance as payment for the other car.

Then they only has about 5 or 6 cars I could chose from and they were mostly dodge & crystlers. They put me in this neon with the check engine light on. I found out that this car also had a misfire on a cylinder as well and they stated they would fix the problem and told my to getty full coverage on the car.

I got full coverage on the car but since the company I went with didn't have an A++ rating, they penalized me.(is that even legal?) And didn't tell me they cjharged my account until I was getting ready to go to work and I noticed my car was gone. I called the forney location and they said they were trying to reach me regarding my account and told me I haven't made a payment since the first payment I made and that was a lie. Then they said they charged me a 200$ towing fee.

The guy who took the car stated he actually drive the car himself so why would they charge me a towing fee and the car didn't get physically towed. I then called the buckber location where I was making the payment and they told me I was only behind 335$.

I called the forney location and they said I owed 775$ and I had 10 days to pay or it would be a repo on my credit. I called a couple days later and a lady said I owed 1100$ & I missed a payment.why would I pay for something I no longer have? I asked why was it a different amount and she stated I missed a payment (after they took the car) they charged me every day for not having A++ insurance and they took the payments remaining on the pontiac and put it on the car as well.

I asked them if all my things were in the car and they said it should be. I went up there and everything was everywhere in the car. All of my payment recipts were basically messed up and money was missing also. The lady stated the car was dropped of before they closed but my car was gone before I had to go to work at 2pm. It only takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get to forney from where they picked the car up from so why did it take the guy so long to get there with the car?

I basically wasted over 20000$ in repairs & actually paying for the cars and now I'm car less. I'm wondering if there can be anything done to these people because they lie and cheat people out of there money. I really would not mind protesting in front of there buildings so no one else gets played like I did.
