After seeing previous comments- I'd like to share with those thinking about 'investing" with Noble Romans Pizza and Tuscanos Subs, and my experience with them, and what happens to you after you buy their "franchise". Seek out the current franchisees who have been open longer than 4 months preferably at least a year- if you find any that were able to stay open and last that long. Many are closing in less than 6 months of being open. Nobel Romans executives care about PUMPING and DUMPING the stock- You can see Scott Mobley and Paul Mobley each have just sold what amounts to over $1 million dollars worth of stock- while stores are closing, and franchisees file bankruptcy

My story is nothing short of a nightmare. Soon our store will also close and we will be facing the same fate.

First- one thing I learned too late, is trusting these people was a big mistake. I have been in business a long time and I have to say that in my opinion I have never before met a group of individuals with such a lack of regard for being truthful in my entire life. Deception is just a tool they use daily to get your check. Unfortunately-I figured this out after I gave them the check. I caught them in one lie after another. Deception is just something they use on a daily basis to do business. Remember that while they are very nice, polite, and charming- they are Lying. After we signed our check to them, and various events transpired- Troy Branson, Mitch Grunat, Paul Mobley and Scott Mobley we have caught them in complete patterns of lies, deception, and manipulation, condescension, and arrogance.

False/fake sales numbers with no historical basis, food quality claims, and false and misleading statements about how much we could earn and what it costs build a store, and to run a store -are too many to list.
I have spoken to several owners where they claimed it only cost 225K to 285K to open a store- many of these owners after they have written the check and had to have their funding increased- have over 500K invested in thier stores AND are in leased space with very high rents- some at over 7500 per month, when they don't even average 5k-6k per week in sales.

Deceptive, incompetent when it comes to management and marketing. They invest little to NO resources in marketing for franchisees- and they have no annual marketing plan. They simply tell you to hang door hangers on every door in town, and hand you a manual with local store marketing tips you could get from any "How to run a restaurant " book.

There have been so many stores that have failed and closed...of course Troy Branson and Paul Mobley will fail to tell you this, and then classify those store owners incompetent and "bad owners". The lies and amount they tell are literally amazing in numbers.

One of the worst deceptions they engage in, in my opinion, is selling a franchise to people who CLEARLY do not have the savings to lose, who while they may be able to get financing, can't weather the loss of cash upon opening the store the "ooops - we just forgot that was going to cost an extra 20k -40k phone call, you need to pay us phone call") Noble Romans incompetence dooms these franchisees to fail right out of the gate by taking half of the working capital they get from the SBA loans. We faced the same issue being billed for certain materials at what amounted to a nearly 100% to 200% mark up from what we could have bought them at ourselves, we had construction items "forgotten" in the estimate phase that cost us thousands in extra expenses, we found out about extremely high priced insurance they forgot to tell us we needed to operate. Why did they leave all of these costs out ?? Then when we needed to open we had to shell out over 40000 in cash, which was our working capital. The imcompetence here was inconceivable.

A common practice they engage in and have with many franchisees who have indicated that the sales numbers are low and they need help- is to orchastrate, and fabricate that the owners are somehow making grave errors in operation that have never surfaced (even in the presence of the "company trainers") - a typical accusation they will make is "that since you get your pizzas out the door in 14 minutes vs. the 10 minutes" they promise you are "ruining" your business and the low sales are a result of poor service. The use inaccuarate reports from the POS system that they know is inaccurate to make this accusation. They will literally have eveyone who was praising your operations- suddenly say "it's your fault". In our opinion, The problem is actually the food and the dough you are forced to use.- the pizza they put out is not nearly as good as they say and people just don't come out for it like they do the industry leaders. Many franchisees think It is directly a result of the pre baked dough they use and the fact that is just doesnt compare to what is out there. It's not bad, just not great. Other accusations involve telling the owners they have a theft problem, they have a huge food waste problem (even though you somehow can't detect it) , that you have killed your business because to didnt to "exactly" like they trained you-- even though they can't exactly tell you the problem.....or to simply ignore the facts- that there are just not sales anywhere near to support the restaurant that they had you build.

A major disappointment was marketing- or lack there of. They simply don't have any personnel dedicated to marketing and ZERO dedicated money for marketing- it's terrible. And what they do come up with is literally a waste of the franchisees money- in this department they claim to know why people buy pizza- they might-- what they FAIL to recognize or arrogantly ignore-- is why MORE people don't buy Noble Romans Pizza.

In my opinion, What is clearly evident is that Noble Romans could care less about what is happening to the franchisees out here. The number of stores closing is staggering- but the Mobley's care about the share price of Noble Romans stock- and that is about it. There is little if any money invested in the franchisees- they will only spend money as long as it is the Franchisees. We are outmarketed, out spent, and food out performed by just about every pizza chain out there- even some of the smaller ones. I understand many of the franchisees have been asking immediate attention to why we are failing only to be accused, or simply have our requests ignored, even told our ideas are wrong when we get information from our customers verifying the problems we have with sales.

The "Ripoff" was the story they sold us. They did a great job of it. These people and this company is not at all what they represent to "potential franchisees". They have no idea how to run a profitable franchise- and have yet to show the current franchisees how it's done. They can't even do it themselves. While they can show you how to make a pizza, they can't show to you they are able to invent a profitable model in which to do so.
This will go down as the largest and most costly, mistake I could have ever made and will affect my family for years to come. I would advise anyone considering a Noble Romans Pizza and Tuscanos Sub franchise to do ANYTHING but this. I have never met a more evil and despicable group of individuals in my entire life and I just want to stop others from getting screwed like we have.

I am sure I will be flamed here and I really could care less. Hopefully we save someone the same agony which we have went through, and they will turn and run from these crooks.
