With my experience, it happened pretty much the same as most of the reviews I've found on this company. They quoted my move at just under $1500 and when it came down to it, they over charged me up to just under $4000!  They claimed that my 38 items had turned into 70 items, that they had to buy packing materials (3 wardrobe boxes at $125 each and several book boxes at $6.00 each) which nothing in my house needed further packing.

Let me start from the beginning:

I was moving from North Carolina to Oregon, I only had the one weekend to get everything finished since I had to report at my job the following money. The move was scheduled to happen July 18th,  Nataly Perry (the VP of customer relations) called me on the 17th claiming the truck broke down in SC and the other truck couldn't get to the house until Wednesday or Thursday. I was kind of stressed out and she made matters worse, she was COMPLETELY rude! I flat out told her she has not customer service skills. When I asked if there was anything they could do to get there sooner she replied with "I'm not a miracle worker!" and when I asked if they had closer trucks she snapped back with, "It's not like they're just sitting in the yard waiting to be used!" I couldn't handle talking to her anymore.

They showed up several days late due to their truck breaking down and since I was at the house for only that specific weekend, I had to leave the business in my landlord's hands. When they got to the house, they claimed I packed everything wrong and wanted another $600 CASH before moving, but since he wasn't the owner of the stuff, they agreed to let it go until delivery.

I hadn't heard from the company in about a month and when I called to get a delivery time and date they could only tell me "about a week". When I finally received a delivery call, it was to let me know that the balance had gone up, the man over the phone was almost as rude as Nataly was and when I asked for a name he hung up on me!

That's about the time I started my research, found out that this comany has several different names they go by, they've only been under the NA Transfers name since July and according to the BBB they have SEVEN complaint files on them all dealing with the same thing I've dealt with. My parents are helping me pay for the move, so we all made sure to get the ODOT codes and all information we could so they couldn't screw us over like they have everyone else.

On the day of delivery (which happened a day later than planned since their truck broke down AGAIN) my mom parked her van in front of their truck in case they tried to take off. They refused to let us check my furniture before payment and closed the truck up..that's when we decided to get the police department in on it. Reason they didn't want to unload my stuff so I could see it was because my stuff was sandwiched between two other household moves. The truck they drove was a BUDGET truck! If I wanted a rental truck, I could have got one myself! Anyway, two deputy sheriffs showed up and turns out the driver of this company had a suspended license and the guy who was suppose to be unloading my items was ILLEGAL! He's been living in our country for three years illegally.

The deputy ended up telling us he personally wouldn't pay a dime, so we didn't, and because we were told we have that right to take it up with the general manager of this company , they left it as is. However, the general manager Adi Peretz has actually threatened my father telling him he has 30 days or else, he'll come after him. So we really aren't sure if he means sue us or take it to personal levels.

Anyone interested in this company because it seems so cheap - - don't do it! It's not worth the problems that my family and I are going through now. Don't let them be rude to you, scam you, or threaten you..go with a different company.
