I am writing this report not because I got ripped off, but because NASB demonstrates what is wrong with final expense.  First and foremost, Chad Milner is a decent and honest human being.  His family is well-respected in the insurance community and he partners with a lot of great companies.  The Milner Group is not the issue.  Craig Harvey is the problem.  He was able to sell himself and this bogus agency to Chad Milner and convince Chad to venture out into the final expense market.

Here are the facts:  A) Craig Harvey and Nick Cammarata have both been sued by a company called Senior Life Services,

located in Florida.  Rory, the owner of the company, alleges that Craig stole a number of agents and

skipped out on a large sum of rolled-up insurance debt.

                              B) Craig is not a salesman.  He is simply a "hype man" for NASB.  He doesn't have much experience in

industry and probably couldn't sell his way out of a wet paper bag.  Does he make a lot of money?

Probably, but this is predicated on making agents pay for leads on 70 and 80 point contracts, when

those agents could command 95 points to 115 points.

                               C) Nick is not experienced in the insurance industry.  He is some sort of recruiter for the company, but

doesn't seem to do much recruiting.  Similar to Craig, he couldn't sell his way out of a wet paper

                                   bag.

Finally, NASB is in the lead generation and sales business.  They overprice leads and then recycle them over and over and over.  If you are a brand new agent or experienced in the business, don't allow yourself to be underpaid or taken advantage of by these guys.  Craig Harvey is not respected at all in the final expense industry and will fade at some point because no IMOs want to issue him contracts after what happened with Rory and SLS.

First in foremost. I can attest that yes Mr. Harvey was sued by SLS. But how this review was stated is false. Mr. Harvey did in fact work for Senior life service. He built a massive agency with the company. Harvey met the guidelines to earn partnership with the company several times. However each time he hit it, the goal post was moved back even further. SLS had a 35 point contract with free bait and switch leads advertising free medications that said nothing about life insurance. Also SLS would not fully vest you until you’ve been with the company for 2 years. In an essence the structure went as follows. Base agents 35 point contract highest contract for Manager 50 point and the owner say somewhere around 135 points. Yes that is correct he made more off each policy sold than the agent did. I know this because my family were some of the agents that came from SLS. Harvey did not recruit us. I heard about the higher contracts, better commissions and day one vestment and left on my own. The entire idea behind the structure of North American is support. Traditionally agents are 100% on their own and have no help or training besides watching videos. What is the point of a higher contract if you can’t make sales. 100% of 0 is 0 my friend. With North American you have access to people who train you hands on, over the phone and even help you close. To the remarks of Harvey not being able to sell. The man sold over 250k annual premium several times by his own pen. If you know anything about the final expense industry that’s pretty dang good. Where Harvey’s strengths lye are providing guidance to agents. Helping them avoid mistakes. Since the conception of North American Senior Benefits in 2012 to now in 2018 North American is issuing around 30 million each year. That is impressive by any standards. Regardless of what people think or if a X coworker is angry at Harvey and wrote this report. The ultimate say and all that matters is what the clients say. I may not be able to speak for the person who wrote this report, however for our family we came from bankruptcy in 08/09 to now we all have it better than we ever have and have quitopled our income from SLS. No not all of us build agencies either. Most of us sell full time.
