North American Surrogacy Center North American Surrogacy Center Was Deceptive And Ineffective Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

I retained the North American Surrogacy Center (NASC) located out of Pittsburg, and the experience was disastrous. Please be forewarned about dealing with this firm.

The NASC turned out to be deceptive, negligent, incompetent, and misleading concerning their abilities and their execution of what they claim they could actually do.

Here are some key examples:

• NASC represents themselves as having a large staff and multiple resources but in fact appears to have just 1 operating employee that is a very busy housewife that just tries to connect clients with other agencies when the NASC claims they are the agency. See website quotes below.

• NASC was negligent in researching various agency program coordinators who misrepresented the true availability of potential egg donors.

• NASC recruited lawyers that were not familiar with all the laws and intricacies of different state laws. I base this opinion on other lawyers that have reviewed their contracts.

• NASC connected me with surrogates that were much higher priced than other industry leaders. In fact, in some cases by 75% higher.

• NASC did not appear to have any egg donor network outside of other agencies. Again, they represented themselves as being the agency that had a large network. In fact, they had no issue asking the client to do research on their on own on the web to find their own donors and surrogates.

• NASC pressured me to make decisions on surrogates in isolation without knowing the egg donor or clinic. Obviously, the costs are very dependent on the locality of the egg donor and clinic. This was the NACS way of blaming the client for lack of results.

• Their contracts suggests that the retainer is not fully paid until key parts of the process are complete when in fact they insist on the full retainer and then refuse to refund any piece of it when they are unable to execute the program.

This simple quote from the NACS website is literally not true in my case in literally every aspect of every word in the paragraph.

"We manage and coordinate all medical, legal and financial components of the surrogacy process, while providing emotional and informational support for intended parents and surrogates alike. Our agency is staffed with medical and legal professionals who have assisted in or participated in the surrogacy process. We are committed to providing our clients with affordable, efficient, discreet and stress-free service."
