I switched over to this phone company thinking I could save $$$. First I was told there was no monthly fee and found out that I was put on a $50/month plan. Totally different from what I signed up for. I was even told that the sales people who were making false promises like the 0 monthly minimums were fired. They should give us the initial fee back for that. Tried to stick with it and was changed to a $10/month plan. My account was charged for the difference of $50 and my monthly usage. Customer Service would gladly give me back the difference, but I have waited for over 2 1/2 months and still haven't received the credit. Told them to deduct the credit from the charges and bill the rest, but then it never happened. My account was charged for late fees. Called several times but needed to explain the whole thing over and over to different people who answered the call. For each call I made, they've assured me it's been resolved. When I get the next bill, nothing was done. My service was even suspended, because they can't do their jobs.

I was also having tons of problems making calls to the Philippines. Got connections where it was hard to hear the person on the other end, them not hearing me, and even getting echoes during the calls. This was not a problem with AT&T. Was asked to used a different access number and to disable call blocking, but none of it worked.

When calling their access number in the middle of the night, I'd get a message to call the customer service department. Then when I call the customer service number, I get a message that they're closed. It was almost impossible to make a call.

Wasted so much of my time trying to get this resolved. It's even impossible to talk to the same customer service person. I was told I cannot leave a message and can't get a call back. They even told me that the only way to do this was to keep calling until I get the person I want to work with answer the call.

i worked for north american telephone network for one year. everybody that worked there was aware of this also. it was the most unprofessional and hostile work environment anyone can work in. i'm sure that when the salesman called you they said that they were new there and would get a supervisor to help you. that was lie number one. the so called supervisors position was called a hottcapper, his job was to get you to pick a monthly minimum plan and get your method of payment.

the next process was called verification, this is where the scam begins. i'm sure the verifier, who was someone across the room, sometimes they would use the words verification department, would tell that you were not obligated and just the 1000 free minutes and cancel. from what we knew it was impossible to cancel. we had heard when people called the cancelation number that sometimes you would be on hold for hours or sometimes noone would answer.

the next process is getting you to agree on these magazines and phone cards. all we wanted you to do is say okay. not yes or no, just the words okay. we were also taught things to make you say okay. among these were telling that if you have any questions wait till after the recording to ask. alot of people would cancel after the recording, we would tell a supervisor and they would send the sell through anyway. also people would be fired oin a daily basis for not making enough sales.

in one day that i worked there i saw over 40 people fired. some people would be fired on there first day. i myself was fired for no good reason and threatened them with the information i knew and i kept my job. i worked almost every position there. salesperson, hottcapper, verifier, and manageing the calling list.

i can tell you i have seen alot of people taken advantage of there. and i have seen alot employees abused and mistreated. there is more that i know i could go on for hours. but this info i just wrote is just on e small peice of the scam. in defense of some of thje salespeople ande myself our conscience would get to us sometimes if we really felt bad about a sell we would blow it on purpose.

you have to understand where i live jobs are hard to find and it was very easy to get a job there. if your were a good salesperson you could move up and make more money. that was our only incentive. nobody made commisions off of the sales we were all paid hourly, our only incentive to make sells was to keep our jobs. if they effected your life negatively i apologize for being part of it. alot of the scam i didnt know about until i got higher up. after seeing what i saw i made the decision to quit. i dont even know if there in business anymore. if they are i would like to know.

The credit customer service promised me back in July was denied on December. Person I talked to said that the reason the billing department turned it down was that I'm no longer a customer. What does that have to do with what the customer service rep and I talked about back in July? It took them 5 months to decide that?

Sad part is they have a group of people calling back previous customers and asking them to try their crappy services again.
