North Hampton Village, Weinstein Properties Dishonest Apartment Assignment Hampton Virginia

Me and My family were supposed to move from the apartments in Northampton Village to a townhome in the same community. When we made are decision to stay we made our self very clear to the office management that we wanted a two bedroom townhome. They told us that they had one available and it would be ready on June 1 2007. Well on June 1 2007 after we had our truck packed and ready to go the office called us in and told us that the townhome they were offering us was a three bedroom and was not available to us. instead they wanted to put us in a townhome in a very bad location where we had to share a back porch with someone and also was on a main street. We have small kids and do not want to worry about them running in the street so we declined the place where they wanted to put us.

We asked them how come they could not have told us earlier that the townhome they were going to put us in was a three bedrooms so that we could make other arrangements and also not have purchased the rental truck. We got very nasty remarks from the manager there and was not helpful at all. So needless to say we had to pay a rent extension fee of 250.00. with a loss of 85.00 for truck rental on the short notice your Northampton management gave us. This really put us in a bad predicament and a huge inconvenience. Not to mention the amount of pest we discovered the first week we were in the apartment. The apartment Manager was just totally unprofessional
