Northstar Alarm False Alarms and cancelled , but kept billing me orem Utah

I had Northstar put in the security system, neighbor says my alarm went off for about an hour, got home and someone had taken my stereo system. Not one call to the police or nothing. So i wrote a letter to cancel my service. only had one month left anyway. I called after getting a bill, and a lady said they did not get a letter. called back a couple of weeks later and another lady, says they got the letter but it was too late, they added another year to my service..No way, it was sent in way in time...

Well, this was in 2010, now on Nov 27,2013 a guy called and said we need to get this settled, so i told my story and he said , yes they got the letter but i stopped paying. Well, yes, they have done this to a neighbor of mine also...So he said that we need to make arrangements to get this paid, no way. You need to get this settled like it should have been in the 1st place. After 3 years they turn this into collections..One fake company.

What gets me the most , 2 people lied and said they did not get a letter , and 2 said they did. If this company wanted to charge me for one more month , then i would have been alright with that. But to try to add another full year of a service that is not hooked up to call the police when needed..They have changed , and may be now, but was not when i needed them the most.....DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT.....

I now want what my stereo cost, it was $520.00  . They will never pay that.
