I first started working for Northwest Companies in early 2012 since they were looking for someone to maintain a commercial property in York, PA. So I agreed and signed my life away with paperwork. The relationship started out pretty well, we we mulching, mowing, did lawn apps, cleared the parking lot of debris, etc and they were only late on payments on a couple occasions. Then came Nov 2012. I started snow plowing this location and didn't get my monthly check from them. Dec, Jan, Feb all plowing, ice melting, shoveling, etc, no money. I'm under contract so I felt I needed to continue doing what I was doing. Spring hit, we mulched this entire property. Keep in mind, all these services was money directly out of my pocket for labor, materials, fuel, etc. Long story short, we mowed up until May 1, 2013 then decided not to do anything else until I received some back monies. Grass grew to be hip high, then they just got someone else to do the work. I am still owed approx $9000 for all the work I did. I've been in "contact" with their lawyer, Mr. Harry Marsh who said that if I file paperwork Greg Tigani (president of this "company") will put me on the back burner and not pay. If I follow their little "routine" and keep quiet, they will work something out with me. Well, still nothing from them and its almost 2014. I did everything I was supposed to on my end according to my contract. They just decided that they could use the money more than actually paying their vendors. The kicker is I tried to take them to court thru my lawyer in PA, and their is a stipulation that says if you want to take them to court, you must hire a North Carolina lawyer. So I have to retain the services of some lawyer down in NC to even try to get my money back. Northwest Company is NOT the real deal and they will rip you off!!!!

Form

I just filled out the form and sent it in; however I was told that anything filed from out of state work (not based in NC) will do us no good. I have tried everything in NC to file a complaint and nothing seems to work (yes, these guys know what they are doing; I guarantee they dont have any clients in the state of NC at all just for this reason alone). I hope by filling this form out, and others as well, that something can be started to shut Northwest down.

File a complaint with the NC Department of Justice

I saw your post in the RipOff report. I have a business that has taken a HUGE loss to Northwest's fraudulent business practices. I recently hired a lawyer and would suggest that you file a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Justice. Once they receive similar complaints from multiple people on NorthWest, the States Attorney General HAS to open a RICO case against this awful company. Within time, the state will levy an injunction stripping Northwest of everything they have. The form takes 5 min. Please fill it out for all of us that have fallen victim.

Please email me at Jeff13Miami@yahoo.com. I think we are going to try to and do some kind of lawsuit against these guys and the more people we have on board the better. Even if we don't win, maybe we can get these morons out of business. Also, contact the Attorney General in NC and file a complaint. Thanks!

Class Action Suit?

Hello,
Seeing as there are so many of us who have fallen victim to Northwest Companies scam, I am in the process of a lawsuit with an attorney in NC (I am in FL). Perhaps if we can all get in contact, we can proceed with a class action lawsuit against Northwest Companies. I do not know how this can continue to happen.

Please contact me if you are interested in a lawsuit against Northwest Companies. I am out of FL and had to hire an attorney in NC as well and have started a suit against them. Apparently, there are more of us out there than I knew about!

Same Problem/Same Company

I would love to speak with you about this. I own a company in Nashville, TN. I was contacted by Northwest Companies perform landscape services at a business in Nashville. I did work from August through November, and have yet to see one red penny. Furthermore, I cannot get anyone to return my phone call. I spoke to one lady at Northwest only because I called her personal cell phone number, and she was not pleased to hear from me. She refused to give me any information and told me to contact the same individual that was refusing to return my calls. I have contacted their attorney, but I don't believe that will get me any further. This is not a good company to do work for!
