In March, 2012 I ordered and paid for in full ($1,687.50), a custom .45 caliber Model 1911 to be built by Norton Firearms.  Since then, Jeff Norton has not delivered the pistol.  He has given me myriad excuses why the pistol has not been delivered - supplier delays, supplier quality issues, the pistol was completed but then stolen before being tested.  And he has stopped returning my calls.

On August 9, 2013, Jeff Norton told me that a Barstow barrel had been ordered and it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks (between August 30 and September 6).  He also said that he would only need the enhanced trigger kit to complete the pistol.

On September 27, 2013, Jeff Norton told me the enhanced trigger kit had been delivered, but he still didn't have the barrel.  At that point, I went to the Barstow website which stated that their lead time was 10-12 weeks on barrels from date of order.  If the barrel would have been ordered on August 9th, it would have been delivered by November 1st at the latest.

After our conversation on September 27th, 2013, Jeff Norton stopped returning my calls.  I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  They attempted to contact him but the business phone number was not working.
