Notebooks4free By OfferCentric disqualified my account when I had reached 19/20 referrals, even though I did not do anything that would be against their terms of service Internet

In May of 2005 I signed up with notebooks4free.com. I completed my required offer, and began referring people to do the same.

By December 28th, 2005 I was showing as having 19 out of 20 referrals completed, and had received e-mails and phone calls from two individuals letting me know that they had completed offers and should be showing as "complete" soon.

On December 29th, 2005, I logged into my notebooks4free.com account to check on the status of the referrals. I was shocked to see a standard message declaring the following:

"We're sorry but your account was found to be in violation of one or more of our terms & conditions.
If you believe you have been disqualified in error, please enter your questions in the form below and a member services representative will contact you shortly."

Confused, and definitely alarmed, I promptly filled out the contact form, asking politely for the reason as to why my account had been disqualified.

It is now January 2nd, 2005. I have filled out the form two more times - once on December 30th to ask yet again why my account was disqualified, and telling them that I had definitely not violated their TOS - the only thing that come have come close would be me checking my account from my mother's house, which might raise questions because of the differing IP addresses.
The other time was January 1st, 2005, asking when I could expect to hear back from them.

I'm hoping against hope (I worked hard to get these referrals for a laptop!) that my account was disqualified by accident - perhaps a glitch? - and that the reason I have not heard back from anyone is due to the holiday weekend.

I'll be sure to update this report if/when I hear back from OfferCentric. In the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions?

Perhaps not so bad?

*knocks on wood* I believe things are straightened out. I contacted OF, they got back to me in regards to what they thought was a duplicate account.
So far, so good. My account is reinstated, although three of my referrals were disqualified for being the same individual/creating multiple acounts.
Hopefully this'll be the end of it!
