Hi, I have been and currently am having issues with my ring that was purchased. I bought my ring in April 2013, and in August of 2013 the stone was loose. I contacted the complany and they told me to bring it to a local jeweler, which I did and then they said that the actual setting isn't right for the stone, so that I need to contact the company. With having a baby and moving to a new duty station, I contacted the company in February, 2014, which Laura was great and had it sent in and the stone was then "fixed". I was never told what the issue was and when I contacted the company to find out, no response.

The second time in June, 2014, the stone fell out. I contacted the company and Laura replied with having to have it sent in and repaired. She said for me to leave specific instructions to have, so that I can know what the issue was. I did leave specific information with the ring and there was no follow up to it on thq5 companies end, just the ring was "fixed" and sent back to me. When I contacted the company to find out what was wrong, no response.

Now, the baguette (side stone) of my ring is loose. I contacted the company and Laura told me to send it in adn the jewelers will look at it and fix it. What I proposed, because I am frankly sick of the constant issues, is to have a prepaid shipping label to mail it in, since each time it costs me $25 to send because of insurance and costs of postal service. I also proposed to just completely exchange it for a different ring, I have a size 6 Chavanne in a 1.75 carat Platinum ring. I proposed for it to be swapped for a size 6 Countess ring, 1.5 carat in Platinum. I think that is more then a fair swap since it costs less than my original ring. The persons response (not Laura) was to bring it to a local jeweler and get the prongs tightened. I then said I am not going to do that, since that null and voids the warranty and also what happened to this being "extremely rare" and getting this situation resolved?

The warranty states that if there are any structural flaws then the ring will be replaced, I think this definetly is considered a structural flaw. I want this exchanged with a completely different ring, because I do not trust the workmanship of this ring, nor do I trust the company to actually give me a new ring. The ring I am asking for in exchange also costs less than mine, so that is more than fair. I chose a solitaire to exchange with because, it is 6 prongs, with no side stones, to me this seems like issue free. I would like this to be resolved, so that I can go on with my business, and so that this company can focus on your orders and not this constant reoccurring issue. Since the company does exchanges with different rings, then I don't see why I can't have this done, since it costs less and I think it seems hassle free. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back on this.

Had issues with my ring, NueDiamonds is resolving it

Hi, I had an issue with my engagement ring.  The first two times the center stone was loose, I contacted NueDiamonds, sent it in, and the ring was fixed both times.  Unfortunately I am having another issue where the sidestone was loose. NueDiamonds contacted their manufacturer and had me send it to them to have their jewelers to look at it.  Their jewelers decided that their was an issue with the actual ring, so NueDiamonds stood by their warranty and now we are in the process of ordering my new ring and I am looking forward to receiving it.  I really appreciate the craftsmanship of their rings, unfortuantely I just had a rare experience which they are taking care of.
