Do NOT buy from these people! They are pure ripoffs. To be fair, I have never had any issues with them until my recent order.

On Nov. 26, 2011. I ordered two sets of groups of standard gels from nuru-guru.com I was slated to receive it on Nov. 28, 2011. 

When the package arrived, I only noticed that it was only 1 set of standard gels, not the 2 that I had originally ordered!

Incensed about this, I immediately contacted them on Dec. 2, 2011.

Here is the message they sent me:

"We sincerely apologize for our mistake. We are overnighting you a group of standard gels along with 3 extra 33.48oz. Standard gels.  
This should not of happened and to rectify the situation we would also like to open our wholesale rates to you. 
We will call be in touch with you tomorrow. 
Best Regards,
Andrew Nuru Guru"

They did not give me a tracking number or anything!!!

I wait till the Monday for my package. Unfortunately, I still did not receive it. I noticed that Mr. "Andrew Cravenho" did not send me the tracking number. He sent me this message:
"Here is your FedEx tracking number: 77038340609.
We sent it out on Saturday, I'm very surprised you haven't received it yet.

Andrew Cravenho"

I looked up the tracking number he gave me and IT DID NOT EXIST IN THE SYSTEM! I looked it up, in all fairness, not only on FedEx.com, but also UPS, USPS.com as well and it did not exist at all!

These people are outright deceptive and dishonest with their business practices. The quality of their gels have degraded and ever since this "Andrew Cravenho" person has been on, their business practices seem to have deteriorated immensely. The fact that they had the audacity to lie through their teeth and send me a fake tracking number says alot about how horrible and corrupt their business practices are. 

If you are looking for nuru massage gel supplies, I suggest you stay as far away from these people as possible unless you want to be ripped off like I was.

Here is What Fully and Honestly Happened After The Incident

Firstly, I want to say that nuru-slide.com is not involved in this. I accidentally thought they were as they have the same packaging as nuru-guru.com. Also, a whois I did of them turned up nothing, so I figured that they were one and the same. Fortunately, they are not and so, thus, I apologize.

Now, nuru-guru is a different matter! They cost me a lot, and I do mean ALOT of business because of their bumbling accidents. The indifferent attitude of Cravehoe to the business I LOST as a result of his mess that HE created is testament to why I would never deal with them again:

"We did everything in our power to rectify the situation, and this was a lot more than any other company would have done for a customer in this situation. Nuru Guru took a loss of $300 trying to please the customer but instead of thanking us, we received nasty reviews from this individual. "

Okay, here is what transpired AFTER the incident above where he gave me a bad tracking number (the night in which I wrote that is before he gave me the correct one and only AFTER I wrote this review - surprise?):

He gave me the WRONG number. I excorciated him about it! I also informed him that I would be writing a review as I lost a lot of business due to their incompetence. 

The next day, he called promptly - something he didn't do as he said he would over the weekend I guess which was the effect of that review - called me up to give me the right tracking number, FINALLY! He even went as far as to send me receipts of it through attachments in the email. So he did send it to me overnight via FedEx! If only I saw what he wrote on the receipt then I would understand what happened next!

So, I was like, "Awesome! Now, I will finally get what I paid for." The next day, hours go by and at the end of the day, I see that the FedEx guy left a sticker saying my name correctly AND it says THE WRONG APARTMENT NUMBER! At this point, already fragged and dismayed by the utter incompetence, I feel even more let down and more confused. I figure that this had to be a mistake and so I waited the next day for the FedEx guy to arrive so I can intercept my package.

Next day comes and I find out when the FedEx person is supposed to be there. I stakeout in my car between the hours of 9am to 10:30am (same time they came yesterday) looking for the FedEx person. Non one in sight! Finally, while talking to a neighbor, I see the FedEx person roll up at around 1pm. At this point, I have impatient clients calling me for the nuru. I was just, "Hold your horses, here it is!" I wave to the dude and he says that he has NOTHING for my building that day. Aghast, I am just like, "I am done with nuru guru!"

So, I get ANOTHER sticker saying that the FedEx person arrived at 3:30pm and could not deliver the package cause said person (me) AND building did not exist according to the transit info given on FedEx's site! WTF incompetence with nuru guru!

I call FedEx and the nice customer service lady over the phone said read me my address! IT WAS THE WRONG ADDRESS! Well, close but misspelled with the wrong door buzzer number given! I looked at the receipt Mr. Cravenho sent me in attachments and hi darn "r" looks like an "n" and his "5" for door buzzer looks like a number "#3"! NO WONDER THEY SCREWED UP MY DARN ORDER! 

So, I had to inconvenience - not, scratch that - WASTE my time going all the way to the OTHER SIDE OF TOWN TO FINALLY PICK UP MY PACKAGE DUE TO NURU-GURU AND MR. CRAVENHO'S INCOMPETENCE! Thankfully, the nice customer service lady called the FedEx shipping place to let them know to hold my package before any more foul ups as a result of nuru-guru's incompetence occurs.

Now, to their credit, they gave me all my money back WITHOUT my requesting it and they shipped it overnight to the cost of $100.



I got a message from Mr. Cravenho requesting to take this report down. No, that is not going to happen! I lost BUSINESS cause of the incompetence of your company. I went through HOOPS get my stuff that I paid for! It was YOU who sent me the wrong "tracking" number! It was you who did not place all the gels together in there as requested! It was you who misspelled - which has NEVER happened before - my address1 I don't know if you are new but the person before you - a lady - obviously did a MUCH better job than you are doing and I don't want you running her business into the ground! Trying to guilty trip me out of writing a LEGIT and HONEST review by providing a few extra gels and a full refund WITHOUT MY ASKING FOR IT won't change the TIME and the MONEY you take away from me by not providing me with what I simply PAID FOR in the beginning!

I was more than patient - more than what most people are - and when someone sends you a "tracking number" that is not real and has to threaten to speak out on it to get it rectified, that is not good business practice. As a matter of fact, when I first discovered the problem, why I couldn't of gotten ahold of you all through a phone call? I called a million times! I sent an email and it took the next day ie the weekend for you all to respond! That is very disgusting and incompetent. And, for me, I would of had no problems if it was just sending me the stuff and getting it over with, but you send me a wrong tracking number and mess up my address on the package for FedEx to send it to. That is incompetent and is not deserving of praise. If anything, it will make ANYONE downright pissed!

But, I don't want to go hard on you! I just don't want this happening again. To your honest credit, I have had, up until this issue, a good customer relationship with you all. You all are very, sincerely, nice. I hope you take this experience and my review as a lesson to ensure that this never happens again.

Personally, I would never deal with them, with those screwball, messed up "rectification" tactics that cost me ALOT OF BUSINESS! I didn't even want my money back! I didn't even ask! All I wanted was to get my stuff! But Cravehoe figures that all he has to do is give you your money back without your consent after causing ME to lose business and everything should be A-OK! No, that is NOT the case business works in the real world and you should be more cognizant of the needs of your customers. I was MORE than patient with your Cravehoe but your company sure took advantage of that. I am still incensed thinking about it as I even write.

Raven, the author of the complaint has ordered on 6 occasions to Nuru-guru.com without incident. The seventh time this individual ordered 2 sets of our Standard Nuru Massage gels. Unfortunately we made a mistake and only sent her 1 set of Nuru Massage gels.

We received a phone call and email stating that we made a mistake, we immediately called this individual and stated that we would send her out the remaining order along with 3 of our largest jugs of Nuru Massage gel free of charge.

After shipping the product, we alerted the customer that we shipped an overnight delivery to the individual and that she should have it soon. We then receive an email stating that she didn't receive the package and she needs a tracking number. We provided the transaction number in error instead of the tracking number. Instead of stating that the number didn't work, she decided to write horrible reviews about our company. She stated at 3 am in the morning that she didn't receive the correct number. We provided the correct tracking number at 9 am the next morning which was not good enough for this individual.

Not only did we refund the order ($88), overnight the remaining pieces of the order ($100 of shipping), and provide free of charge 3 jugs of nuru massage gel (valued at $180), this was not good enough for this customer.

We did everything in our power to rectify the situation, and this was a lot more than any other company would have done for a customer in this situation. Nuru Guru took a loss of $300 trying to please the customer but instead of thanking us, we received nasty reviews from this individual.
