NYCoinMart UA America Inc. Cancelled order and attempted to get me to reorder at higher prices while my money was tied up in the system for a week. Levittown, New York

I purchased over $2000 worth of gold and silver bullion from nycoinmart online.  The money was withdrawn from my checking account.  Two days later I received an email notifying me that my order was canceled and my money would be refunded.  They claimed that the particular method of payment I used, which was an explicit option on their website, was suddenly no longer valid.  I contacted them expecting them to honor the original order and allowing me to pay with another method.  Instead, they told me I could order again at the now higher prices.  When I started politely questioning this bad business practice the representative began raising his voice at me and using sarcasm.  He eventually said he'd see what he could do, but I could tell he wasn't going to do anything so I called back to talk to someone who was perhaps a bit more polite at the very least.  I talked to a very nice representative who said he agreed with my position, but he didn't have the authority to do that.  So he contacted his superiors which led to me getting an email from a guy named Kevin who assured me he would make it up to me.  Instead he has ignored me and the company has apparently screened my calls.  The money I had withdrawn from my account was tied up in their system for over a week.  Because of the nature of investing in bullion, by the time I had access to my money again, the price had risen.  I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this company to seek the many other reliable sources out there.  Even if they are offering better prices, it's not worth it.  Go with a reliable business and enjoy the peace of mind.
