Nye Ohrberg acts like he is a marketing genius. On a conscious level he probably THINKS he knows what he is doing.

Nye Ohrberg had the potential to be good at what he tries to do but unfortunately he is unable to execute. He is good at making promises but he is sadly unable to come through with them. Luckily for me I did not lose a lot of money on him and even more luckily I did not subject any of my clients to him.  Unlike Nye, my reputation is important to me and I know that a loyal customer a something to cherish.

Nye Ohrberg  cannot part with his money even when he obviously owes it. I have a suspicion it is because he doesn't have much, which is common in scammers and people without a loyal customer base.

I knew that Nye was full of himself and full of bs but I did decide to do business with him in the hope he had a program that could execute as he said it would. He has a program that is supposed to automate sending emails, and dimensional packages to businesses. The main purpose of this post is not to list the numerous errors and poor service in my own campaign, although they were legion. The most blatant ripoff is as follows:

I engaged a long time client to possibly use the "system" for a campaign. Nye and I had an initial meeting with the client which concluded with them requesting a proposal and campaign idea,  Nye explained I would need to create a PO for $500 for him to create the proposed campaign within 5-10 days. I did so then my credit card was requested. Fine, it could be returned if the client did not purchase within 30 days. About 20 days later I finally received the outline for the campaign. I scheduled a meeting with the client for a few more weeks out. This is a corporate client and required a few executives to be rounded up. The physical samples were delivered to me the day before the scheduled meeting. About 2 months had passed from the time we requested the campaign until the final pieces were received and we had the client meeting. Nye ran the meeting via teleconference.

The client was reasonably happy with the ideas and expressed an interest in executing a campaign in a few months. The money and personel would need to be allocated. They asked for references in their industry from which Nye had case studies (but it's funny that he would only provide one reference to someone from another industry - obviously a new customer who had not had enough experience). Anyway I let the $500 float for a while thinking the client may buy this year and thus eliminating the need for a credit which may need to be billed again later. In what I thought was a friendly conversation with Nye I mentioned the $500 to be credited and he got angry and said it had to be "returned" in 30 days.  Went on about Target, and such. I thought he must be kidding. Of course he threw in comments that it was my fault the client did not buy but he ran the meeting and it had nothing to do with either of us.

Bottom line is the client did not buy in 30 days which he obviously knows as they can only buy from one place- him! And we are not trying to return an pair of underwear we used for a month but intellectual property he already has! Furthermore it had been only about a week past 30 days since we made the presentation.

I thought we were executing a simple transaction but Mr.  Ohrberg decided to burn our bridge and refuse to issue the refund. Mixed in were his usual attempts at insults.

I'm suing him now and spending a littte of my time warming people like you about him. Unlike Nye I can afford $500, but I wanted to help others and I had enough of his attempts at insulting me. I think his insults and bs might work with certain insecure people. Personally I find them laughable.

Worse though is that now he fancies himself a business coach. That is a reall shame because business coaches can do a lot of good for people, but they need to be reasonably caring individuals not only out for themselves.

Bottom line, gentle reader, just stay away from this guy. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then that's what it is.

Been there done that with Nye- Don't go there

AUTHOR: Thankful - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 08, 2013

When I set up my account with APN, I did a search on the internet and the only thing I found was a fax scam he was involved in.  I didn't think that was too terrible especially since he explained it away saying he resolved the whole situation.  He also came highly recommended (I later found out that person didn't really know him) and so I went against my instincts and signed up for his services.

None and I mean none of the things he promised actually happened.  I have never written about someone online before but when I saw this post, I decided I needed to say something so others would not make the same mistake I did.  I never sued him but I lost thousands in the whole deal.

I don't think he is a scam artist.  I think he believes what he says he is going to do, but he over promises and then can't deliver.  He is also going in so many different directions, he just can't seem to keep up.  Lastly, the way his system worked at the time was not explained to me and when I found out the real set-up, it felt very out of integrity (fooling people into thinking you are located right around the corner in an office building when it's actually just a virtual phone number).  That was never explained to me.

If you are reading this because you are considering using his services, please listen to your instincts so you don't make the same mistake I did.
