I bought my Oakwood home in march 2000, and first of all, i had no cutains, and the trailer was the wrong color, I ordered green they brought grey, when i complained they said you sighned for it you got it, i told them to give me my curtains, they said no.

I also had bad leaks in both doorways and the bedroom, after a year they came out to fix it after I had already stopped the leaking they replaced the wallboard, which was not even the same grade.

My kitchen floor was torn when I moved in and they said tough. That was the last straw I had enough and I fought back and this is how I did it.

First I called them and ordered my floor to be fixed by them and said I would pay, after the men fixed it I kicked them off my property and said talk to oakwood about it, I got a call and oakwood was mad, but they had to pay it.

next I called and said untill I get my curtains they will not get paid on time, my payment is due on the 1st they get it on the 25th, hahah, then I changed my number and they can't get ahold of me.

finally just for giggles i moved to a different town and have never told them, my mail is fowarded so when ever they want to give me curtains or give me the trailer I ordered they can rott, I also got insurence of 5,000 on the home and 60,000 to me if anything goes wrong with the home I get all the money, some may say he can't do that, and some may say I am wrong but I just got fed up and if more people did it would send a wake up call to them.

Also they have declared bankruptcy, and soon we can all stop paying them and they can't do anything about, don't believe me look at helig-meyers a popular furniture store when they filled bankruptcy people stopped paying and they just lost the stuff.
