Oakwood Cove The Worst Place on Earth Dallas Texas

Oakwood Cove Mobile Home Park is quite possibly the worst place on Earth to live. Every year the lot rent continues to increase. Not sure why the keep increasing it as we have to pay extra for any amenities. Such as the swimming pool that didn't open for 2 years in a row. Now the pool is open (well for the moment at least) and it is $10 per family to swim there. You are not allowed to have kiddie pools or things of that nature in your yard. Last September my husband truck was parked in a parking space next to our house. The house that the parking space belonged to had been vacant for about 4 years. We came home to find that his truck had been towed. When we confronted the oh so pleasant "park manager" about the situation she advised us that the park had stickered my husbands truck for 2 hours prior to towing it. Most normal people work 8 to 5. Then there is the newest issue of a tree that we grew from a tiny tiny sapling into a full sized tree. I came home to find that they had cut our tree down which is the only thing that provided any shade at all to our yard. They will not mow or weed eat your yard unless you pay an extra $40 extra on your lot rent. But they have no qualms about cutting down any trees that may be growing in your yard. When I confronted the "park manager" again, she stated that they cut down all the dead trees in the park. I'd like to know what her version of dead trees actually is. Our tree had green leafs on it and was sprouting new limbs. I know times are tough people and the actually rent the mobile homes for about $500 a month, although we pay about $850 to live in our rat hole, but trust me you don't want to move here. It truly is the worst place on Earth.
