OAN - PrivaSafe Email SVC FALSE ADVERTISEMENT SCAM MISLEADING SURVEY ripoff SAN JOSE California

My SBC bill was charged an additional charge from OAN / Privasafe Email SVC for Email service which I do not need because I already received DSL service from SBC. It turned out that my brother filled out a survey or a free gift survey for the gift he can't remember if he received or not. I agreed to pay for two months and demanded the service to be terminated immediately. However, the following month the charge was still there.

This costs so much time and causes me tremendous stress. Having to deal with this is so unfair to customers like me. I wrote a letter to SBC but do not know if they could do anything about it.

Just hope that someone in the same situation read this report and fight to get the money back. Do not give up the way I did. I wish my brother remember which survey he fillet out; that way we could have checked to see if there was an actual box that warns about the charged or not.
