I do not know if others have done this, but my mortgage is going to be transfered to Ocwen Federal Bank FSB from Auroral loan services. I am concerned due to the amount of problems with Ocwen. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN ..Be ready to be lied to, and rudely treated


You are about to be educated--only self taught!!just like Marlene says. The only thing that I might add is to send your payment certified so it has to signed on Ocwen's end. Keep your post office paperwork and attach it to the returned postcard. Everything needs to kept in order. If you can, send your payment before it is really due and not in their "10 day grace" because everyday they delay the posting it is not in your favor. Also keep track of of checks sent because in my case they did not post them at all. That is why I suggest certified mail to show that you sent your payment.

Be ready to be lied to, and rudely treated. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever talked to.

Like Marlene suggests keep your paperwork straight because the facts speak for themselves and that is what you want.

There are many around the USA who have been right where you are at--but you are ahead of the game going into this. Keep us posted of any problems and mamy will offer help where they can.

Keep the faith and hang in there until you can refinance your home. My best, ....

Did the transfer took place already? It was just announced? Did you get a letter/date from Aurora and/or Ocwen?

First step: Don't panick.

And follow our instructions. According to HUD, and to a thousand laws, Aurora has to notify you of the change, and Ocwen has also to notify you. Will you send the next payment to Aurora? Or to Ocwen? Prepare your files for continuos documentation of this fight you are obligated to start. How do you pay? By ordinary mail,Certified Mail, Bill Pay? Have you been able to pay on time so far? Will you be able to pay on time from now own? Who has your note now? Did you pull out your credit reports from the credit agencies? And many more questions. You have to plan an strategy tailored to your personal situation.

You have to be extra careful because they might change your loan number at the time they think your regular payment is already out, not to post it or post it later. Write the legal description of your home in all your payments, and the new and old numbers if you have them, and something like this..."payment applied to my RE loan secured by my property located at (give your physical address and also its complete legal description, since they can not change the location of the house), and to any new loan number you already assigned or might assign to it" Make copies of it.

Go to MSFRAUD.ORG and to OCWENFEDERALSUCKS.ORG and post details about your personal situation there(don't need to fully identify yourself). Set apart a couple of hours a day to read this forum, the ROR, as much as you can, and the others too. Here, at the ROR, you will find people in your exact same position, they "has been there". By reading reports from this site and from the others, you will get an education no lawyer can give you, and no intitution can give you. Why? Because the lawyers, the brokers, and the different companies will not properly answer your questions. They will tell you "what it's supposed to be"" and IS NOT. They will cite the law (their book) and ignore your reality. Your reality: all those laws they cite are consistently broken by Ocwen and its RICO friends, under the indolence and the indifferent eyes of our government.

You need to educate yourself about the ways money works in our society. How the "servicing" works, what they really do to victimize people. Their behavior is openly illegal and only victims like you can properly advise you. You have an advantage: you are alert, at the beginning of the change. This is the time to present an aggressive defensive behavior. Don't be reactive! There are things you will need to do to minimize the hurt or "damage control". Don't pay attention to nonvictims (many are lawyers), that tell you: "They can't hurt you if you send your payments on time, and if you do this or that you will have no problems because the law says...bla,bla, bla".. " Balloney and mortadella!
Ocwen follows no law, and its RICO partners will not admit to it.

Send your notarized affidavit explaining your situation to Kweku Hanson (his address, numbers, biography, and explanation of his actions are on this site, and on others). MR. HANSON IS ABOUT THE ONLY LAWYER YOU CAN TRUST NOW WITH CLOSED EYES!

Take heart. Do not dismay. We are many and together on this. You are not alone.
