I ordered a printer and it was not delivered the day it was scheduled. The Office Depot online tracking tool showed it had been delivered, but it hadn't so I called. The rep confirmed with UPS that it was still at the UPS depot and that they "ran out of time" to deliver my order. Being Friday, delivery was re-scheduled for the following Monday. I also asked for the online status of "Delivered" be updated and was assured that would happen.

Monday came, no delivery and still the online status showed "Delivered." I called again and cancelled the order and was promised a refund. I ordered the same item from another supplier and sure enough the next day it appeared on the doorstep - along with the cancelled order from Office Depot. I refused the delivery and called again. Still no refund, still no update on the status.

A week late still nothing. I called again, and this time spoke to a supervisor who assured me that my refund would be issued by 5 PM. That did not happen either.

So far Office Depot has failed to do thing one they were supposed to do. What do I do now, call again? For more promises that nobody is goingto act on? They have my money and do not return it. I have nothing to show for the payment I made to them other than hours on the phone (lost productivity time) trying to get them to do the honest thing. But so far they have kept the payment and given nothing in return.

I run a small business and have used Office Depot for much of the computers, printers, peripherals, and office supplies over many years. Customer service has gone the way of the dinosaur with them. And they will not see another dime from me.
