American Transaction Supplies, ATS Phone fraud, harrassment, and invoicing after being paid! ripoff Champlain New York

What a company! Rude, obnoxious and to top it off committing phone fraud and then denying it.

Time to call the FTC!

Last October, ATS called our business and my husband answered the phone. As with the other rip off reports here, they verified our machine and our address. They then represented themselves to my husband as our "authorized dealer by our credit card company" and that our scheduled shipment would be mailed shortly. Not knowing what arrangements I had made with our credit card company, he said "okay".

I tried to return it. $102 for something I could have gotten at the office supply for less than half that!

Finally tired of the harrassing phone calls, arguing with them that they were NOT our "authorized dealer", and not wanting a "late" on our credit report, I paid the bill.

Now, I'm still getting invoiced! I'm afraid of a "late" on our credit. I tried calling. "What invoice number?" I gave it to the gal. "Give me your name and phone number and someone will call you back". What the heck? I hung up.

They'll be getting a fax from me today with a copy of my complaint to the FTC, the NY Attorney General's office as well as the Better Business Bureau.

And, since we got the supplies, we have not need the rolls of tape, and after reading a Rip Off Report about an obviously used box and some of the rolls being black as if exposed to heat, I finally opened the box. Oh my gosh! A mouse eaten, beat up box inside the UPS box with maybe 12 rolls of credit card paper that were black as if exposed to heat. Luckily they are the right size for my machine and some are salvagable.

Watch out ATS you've just messed with the wrong person! 20 years as a paralegal has gotten me far in this life.
