I booked a hotel reservation through this company, and with further review of the hotel, found a majority of people who stayed there saying that it was an unsafe location and would not stay there again, and many more complaints of the hotel. So I called the customer service of the company that I booked my reservation through. They stated that it would be $25 processing fee( as the policy DOES state.) But, the policy goes on to say for the type of room that I have reserved, I can get a full refund. FULL. Not full minus $25, not full after a processing fee. I'm sure that this is a standard practice of fees, but I believe that the wording in the policy is misleading, and creates a false trust of being able to get a full refund. To me, it was just a shady tactic to ensure my reservation. This is the cancellation policy from their website:



Cancellation Policy:
 To cancel this reservation, a $25 per room processing fee will be charged by this website. For the room type you've selected, you can cancel your reservation for a full refund up until noon on Thursday, December 31st (local hotel time).
If you decide to cancel your reservation anytime between noon on Thursday, December 31st and noon on Friday, January 1st (local hotel time), the hotel requires payment for the first night's stay. You will be charged for the first night's stay including taxes and fees. Any remaining amount will be refunded to you.
Refunds or cancellations are not available after noon local hotel time on your day of arrival (Friday, January 1st).
