So I’m new to modeling and a majority of the gigs I find are on Craigslist. I know what you may be thinking— Craigslist is almost always a scam— but I actually managed to find several decent paying legitimate modeling gigs on Craigslist. So when I came across a posting for an A-list music video I figured, why not apply? When I applied I was told I was corresponding with someone named Denise Tabor. She then directed me to the website for one choice management where I had to fill out a super long application.

A few weeks later I was contacted by someone named Anthony Green. He said in order to work with him I would need to give him 1,000 compcards a month. I don’t know if any of you are familiar with the cost of printing but to print a colored copy at kinkos on basic photo paper costs $1. Therefore, 1,000 copies would cost $1,000 plus tax!! And he wanted that MONTHLY! The only other option would mean giving him my credit card information for him to charge me hundreds of dollars for compcards and without even a guarantee of work.

He had his assistant Laura Marlowe send me a contract and I emailed her back and told her there was no way I was spending $12,000 on compcards a year and I did not have the type of cash on hand to just shell out hundred of dollars. She never got back to me so I figured well I guess they’re not interested in me since Indont have the money. A few months went by and I continued to apply for modeling jobs and, one day, I received an email from a perspective job stating that Anthony Green contacted other talent agencies and called me unprofessional and difficult to work with.

I was so confused as to how I was difficult to work with after refusing to shell out that sort of cash. If you come into contact with these people— DONT give them your credit card information, DONT sign anything and definitely DONT communicate with them in any way shape or form because he will bad mouth you and it could prevent you from getting any work.
