One Stop Global Solutions, LLC claimed to sell us updated versions of quickbooks with online backup and technical support for 5 years Independence Kentucky

On or around July 9, 2017 I was contacted by "Peter" at One Stop Global Solutions. He told me he was a quickbooks representative and it was time to update our subscription. He also asked to gain remote access to my computer so that he could make the necessary changes to update and provide security, online back up and technical support for 5 years. Before he called he had already gotten my company's information somehow. Upon having access to my computer he put his number in my task bar for any help I would need in the future. it clearly said quickbooks support.

On 7/11/2017 $1499.97 was drafted from our account. Assuming everything was legit it was never questioned. On 11/7/2017 I noticed several tasks running on my computer causing it to slow down. 2 days after closing all the "suspicious" tasks "Peter" calls me again. This time asking if I had made any changes to quickbooks recently. I told him no and he reponded with well I need to gain access to your computer to see why we received an alert. Not knowing any different I allowed him to. He then told me my data was corrupted and I needed to purchase technical support for the future. I told him we had already purchased that and I became very suspicous. He then spoke with my owner. After a heated conversation our problem was suddenly "fixed" and he disconnected from my computer. I immediately called the actual quickbooks help line and they cofirmed we had been scammed.
