I was hired to do a certain job, but was later moved to another position without notice or any explanation. The pay at OneUp is very low and there are no benefits at all, but I worked VERY hard to do a good job.

Once again I was decieved when the CFO told me my job was safe when I asked him about my job security. A week later I was fired without cause or reason...deceived again. The people in charge at OneUp Innovations and Liberator cannot be trusted and treat employees very bad. My opinion of Louis Friedman and the other people in charge; I could carve better men out of a banana.

OneUp Innovations and Liberator was a terrible place to work and people are treated bad. Think twice before going to work there.

As a long term employee I can tell you that the "rebuttal" was written by Louis's eldest son.I was actually part of the telecom meeting where the rip off report was discussed.People (including management) accused one another of writing the initial creport.Later in the meeting it was agreed that Louis's son (who has a non specific IT related position at Liberator) would be the one to write in the rebuttal as Car_guy2007,

Here it is 2 years later and things have gotten tremendously worse at One Up Innovations because of the carelessness, mismanagement of funds and the stupidity of the CEO Louis Freidman.  They have continuously made false promises to their employees and future employees of benefits, pay raises, bonuses and just a better work environment all of which have been pushed to the bottom of the totem pole partially due to the CEO and CFO's inappropriate and lacluster spending and partially because the Chief Officers (who r his buddies) dont need it (they can afford to pay for insurance).  They would rather spend tens of thousands of dollars on advertising or on photoshoots that aren't even being compensated by those sales, than to give your employees insurance or a bonus or pay vendors!  It says alot about an Employer when they will work the hell out of you and they wont even help u pay to get an annual checkup at the doctor!  Employees never tend to stay there long due to the unusually perverted and unstructured work environment.  There are no policies and procedures or company values that are to be upheld, hence the constant chaos that is OneUp Innovations.  Louis makes decisions based upon what side of his a*s itches, and expects his employees to not only go along with it but change everything that he put in place just the day before.  Regardless if its right, wrong, legal or not! 

They prefer to hire hispanics for CHEAP labor (whether legal or not), low ball the other minorites and give continuous raises to/for unnecessary employees and agendas.  Not only is the work environment unfair and unjust, Louis is a TRUE TO FORM PERVERT!  Every woman and man are subject to his sexual inuendo's, rude comments or questions always with a sexual conotation and constant looks of perversion.   I often wondered if that was in everyones job description, answering Louis perverted sexual questions or hearing about his persinal sexual activities!  I mean how many times does one need to hear that u enjoy anal stimulation....REALLY!  Just cause Liberator is n the industry of sex, doesnt mean that ur employees want to be sexually harrased ..especially not by Grandpa Friedman!  Better watch out before u have a lawsuit on ur hands....

If you treat your employees right, they will treat u right!  This would make report number what???

Setting the record straight on Car_2007

It is fairly obvious to all present and ex-employees affiliated with One Up Innovations that the rebuttal from Car_2007 is a fabricated PR hoax. As a recent ex employee, I can guarantee that the priorities of the owner Louis Friedman is not about making money or even providing benefits, but to glorify a business whether a profit is earned versus anything beneficial to his employees.

This is an owner who would rather get a loan from investors and invest in a off the wall idea without any quantitative research versus paying off his creditors and providing real benefits for his employees. It is unfortunate to be in business as long as he has and to be given many opportunities and have some real dedicated employees to not be able to take care of these individuals and their families and instead spend money on hiring employees that are short lived due to poor training or hiring because he can get them cheaply if they are "unemployed". He also would prefer to spend money on advertising and marketing that gets wasted and lost in a black hole without any real research rather than catching up on bills and looking to retain employees with a "real" benefits package as most responsible owners would do. An example of Louis philosophies would be to compare a gambler who has run up a huge debt and obtains a loan using his house ...... Most sound people would pay the debts and get their house in order, Louis' philosophy would be to pay the minimum amount and go to the race track and try to win his money back on a long shot!!!!!

It is unfortunate for the employees still there and the ones that join the organization to have a leader with these characteristics. If there is a way to lose money and not be blamed, Louis does have a market on these skills. One can only hope for daylight for the survivors of the hurricane that is Louis Friedman.

I worked as a Supervisor in Production at OneUp Innovations and I was always treated fairly by management and Louis Friedman. While it is true the the company doesn't provide any benefits other than paid vacation and sick leave, this is typical of companies this size. During my time with the company, I saw people being reassigned to new positions but, in my opinion, this was only to make better use of their skills and improve efficiency. "Torme" should probably read the book "Who moved My Cheese" and he/she would learn that "if you don't change, you can become extinct" I guess Torme is on the path to becoming extinct.....
