OnLine Detective aka CCBill LTD ripoff consumer fraud deception Tempe Arizona

My Husbands father had passed away the week prior to subcribing to the online detective and since no one seem to know much about papers or accounts he had, we decided to investigate ourselves. I was on the internet and decided to try the 3 day trial subscription to ONLine Detective(thinking maybe they could shed some light on things). Well we subcribed, went into the so call website and tried inputting information. Only to get booted out each time we tried. We continued to try the next day but when we finally did..it only took his name and always came up with nothing.

We cancelled the subscription the next day by clicking on the icon and put in the information they requested. We thought nothing else of it because it said that the subscription was cancelled. But, 6 days after we cancelled a charge of $29.95 showed up on our account and we were outraged. We called the Bank and they ask that we complete forms"which we did". And since there was no number to call the merchant we kept searching and calling information until we finally got someone in Tempe, Arizona. They told us that they had not received any cancellation notice and that the charge could not be reversed.

This was an outrage. The people act as if they were not even listening to what we were saying. And kept asking for a cancellation notice. They tried to play stupid on us.

What exactly do we do in a situation such as this? Are do they just get away with it?
