Onrebate -- TigerDirect.com Dishonest rebate process -- Claimming the original UPC wasn't recieved even though it was mailed along with other documents Ripoff Miami Florida

I bought a Power Up 1gb Mp3/wma Player (Usb Drive Silver) from tigerdirect.com. The website claimed that I would get $40.00 back if I filled out two rebate forms on OnRebate.

So I followed instructions and mailed all documents. One of the rebates requires a copy of UPC and the other requires the original. So I attached a copy of UPC (with other required documents)in one envelope and the original in the other. I then mailed both of them to the SAME address.

After about 2 weeks, onrebate contacted me saying that one rebate has been approved (the one with a copy of UPC), and the other has been rejected because of missing the original UPC. But I had already mailed the original UPC (AND the original packing list) to the company, and now the only valid documents I have are copies.

I tried to contact OnRebate but they don't have real persons answering their phones and they are not responding my email. They did send an email after the rebate was denied, saying that I could resubmit all the documents and the deadline would be extended to Jan 28th. BUT the original UPC that they required has been sent already and I have nothing to resubmit.

(I am 100% sure that the original UPC was in that envelop and the envelop with all documents was received by OnRebate but they are denying that fact that my original UPC was in that envelop)
