I purchased prescription glasses from Optical Insight, NY based on prescription from their inhouse optometrist Dr Antonia Siciliano. I started getting persistent and repeated headaches when i used these glasses. After about 10 days of using these glasses, i approached Dr Siciliano - she said the prescription was right but the glasses were incorrectly made. When i asked for a refund - the owner Jeffrey Bildweld started screaming and used unprofessional language and said there would be no refund and i could go do my worst. Unbelievable ripoff!!

My name is Donna and I am an employee at Optical Insight. I would like to formally respond to the former complaint posted by A.K. from Jersey City.
We at Optical Insight have a great reputation for remedying any problems which may arise at times due to the nature of this business. While we cannot please everyone, we do our utmost to satisfy every patient by working with them to ensure that they are comfortable with their new glasses. If at anytime a new pair of glasses do not work for a patient, then we at Optical Insight will honor the patient's word, recheck for any error and refabricate a new pair of lenses at no cost. We do not, however, give any refunds due to the nature of custom made work.
We apologize if there are any misunderstandings, but we really do strive to make everyone happy.
