Orangatang Home Services pocketing money Tempe Arizona

Met a tech from Orangatang Home Services and mentioned to him that I have a a/c unit that needs some work so he called another tech and I spoke with him to give my address and he asked me if i needed a estimate today so after time went by the office called my home and setup a appointment with my husband for later on in the day.

The office called and said the tech would here at 7pm or shortly there after. The tech called and told us he would be here in 40 mim. he showed uo and looked at our a/c unit in the attic and the unit outside. After the 10 min. inspection he told my husband it would costs us $177.00 for the estimate. The first tech I spoke with told me that it would be a free estimate. I called the first tech and told him that the tech who is at my house is charging me $177.00 for the inspection so the phone was turned over the the tech who was at my house who also is charging us $177.00.

The two techs discussed it and the tech decided he was leaving my home without payment and told me he was putting me on the no call list. Fine, I told him i would mail or drop off the payment. After reading reviews on this company i have decided not to pay. Why should i pay $177.00 for a free estimate. If i knew that this company charges for estimates, i would not have them come to my home. On their web page it states FREE ESTIMATES.

This tech needed extra money and i was'nt going to pay for his "car payment or anything else in his personal life. After all i felt this was a horrible experience with a Orangatang tech.
