We have not been able to get what we want, when we want it. 4. We were not made aware that the maintenance fee would rise significantly. We have not been able to vacation because of the high maintenance fees. It is now too expensive to pay for. 5. While checking in at a location we could get a reservation for, we were highjacked to go to an owners’ update meeting. We weren’t allowed to check in until we agreed to do so. 6. So I complained to that sales rep about our problems. He promised that all our troubles would go away if we purchased more. Things did not change at all. 7. I have tried to give the membership back, but they refused to take it. 8. Our family has a new financial obligation and that is to the IRS, who has informed me I owe a great deal of money. I must honor that obligation before Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn could sell this membership to someone else and make more money than they can waiting for me to pay, because I am not paying any more. The most expedient resolution to this is to take it back.
