Orange Model Management Modeling Agency Toronto Scam Internet

I also had in interview with this company just yesterday, I was told the exact same things, but i stated that im not fnancially stable to be able to make these payments, but the man and i worked out a deal that if im able to find my own photographer, and do all the prints myself, i wont have to pay the fee of 600$. He said the only reason i cant do the prints myself is because the photographers own the rights, but if i find someone who is proffesinal and willing to do it for a cheaper price and give me the rights to the photos, it will cut alot of the costs. I dont feel like he would allow all of this if this company was just a scam. 

Even after reading the ripoff report I signed with Orange Model Management as I did not find it convincing.  So far my experience with them has been great.  I had been looking at other agency reviews and trust me there is a lot out there on the internet for all most all of them. Also I checked and Orange Model Management is not even on Actra's no cheque policy. I would highly recommend Orange Models.

Looking at the blog and fanpage of Orange Models it seems this individual has no idea about the industry or there are personal reasons behind him/her bashing them online.  If you are making your decsion weither or not to join them or any other agency my suggestion is visit that agencies blog or call and ask what kind of jobs they have done in the past just so that you have an idea what you are getting into.

Hey I,m a model myself and I'm not with Orange but I can tell that they are not even on the no cheque list , and in Montreal they have work on many many ACTRA project . Only heard good things and this is verifiable they Unionised my friend , he's an actor and got is Union membership throw Orange.. 

So I guess the only scam is this poeple commenting false accusation on the web. (ps Im not the owner I selected continu after I saw the list ...:p)

Our agency has a great reputation with our clients and this includes magazine editors, casting directors, ad-agencies and production companies, who have referred their family members to us; in fact, the majority of models we audition come from referrals. So we must be doing something right.

As to how we work, we do so just like an employment agency exclusive to models and talent. This means that we are the intermediary between the clients and the models/actors and that our job is to promote and represent our models and talent. We do not sell courses and do not represent or indorse any single photographer. 

If a model has their own promotional material, including their own portfolio, and is experienced, agencies like us are more inclined to start you up for free. In certain cases, we do help aspiring models by covering some of the cost of their promotional materials but this is a business decision made on a case by case basis.

If a model is already equipped with the aforementioned, we only charge commission which is deducted from the jobs our models do. We do not guarantee jobs or auditions. Our job is to submit our models and talent to clients and it is up to the client to choose who they want to book.
