Orsid Realty NYC DISHONEST, RUDE, & FRAUDULENT New York New York

ORSID REALTY is not to be trusted. After advertising in the NY TIMES, my friend and I responded to an add for a two bedroom rental on the 5th floor.

We are ideal tenants, summa c*m laude graduates from IVY league universities and have many academic as well as professional honors.

We were shown an ideal apartment, our spirits were lifted and we felt we'd found a home.

We submitted simple applications to our sales agent and then proceeded to collect our Gaurantor's information as well as our credit and tax papers.

With complete insistence from ORSID that everything "looked good" and that we were going to have no problems we were rejected!!!! - I questioned it.

Phil LERNER(the agent in question) GAVE NO ANSWERS , WAS RUDE ON THE PHONE, CONTINUED TO SAY "NO COMMENT" and "PLEASE LET ME FINISH" he was more concerned with defending his work than with getting me the apartment - something that makes no sense on a Business level.

He finished telling me that we were rejected based on the simple application that barely describes a person - all our papers, taxes, guarantor's forms and tax returns, notary signed papers and such were NEVER even PRESENTED to the OWNER of The GARAY at 35 West 64th street NEW YORK NY!!

THE GARAY owner is hasty in his decision but I do not blame him for his rejection for it was ORSID that did not present all the documents together and in a professional manner!!

MY friend and I lost the apartment for no reason. WE had money to pay the lease, we had an excellent track record, and we had perfect credit.

If we were rejected outside of financial reasons than we were discriminated against for being too young -25 years old, or for being females. Because those are the only things we are "guilty" of!!

THE GARAY and ORSID REALTY truly MISSED AN OPPORTUNITY with us. We were willing to pay in advance, we would have been the most respectful of tenants and we would never have had a problem with payment.

ORSID is a low class, low integrity run business that wasted our time and made us give up other options for rent!! I welcome their defense in this instance - but the only way their reputation will be helped is if they treat possible renters and buyers with respect and council.
