Overstock Kitchen Warehouse Quick to take your money... but, doesnt delivery the product. Unreachable after taking your money. Woodbridge Virginia

Purchased a new Frigidaire FGET2765KF online at the company website.  Researched BBB before purchase to see if company had any complaints or bad rating.  All checked out clean.  Website claims products are shipped out within 24 hours of payment processed.  Payment processed on 4/11/14 at 23:16.  Since payment was "Processed", we've been unable to receive any updates on the shipment.  No return emails to our inquiries at first.  Now, the emails to the company email address have started failing since 4/28.  Beginning 4/28, all email inquiries sent result in a Deliver Status Notification email indicating that "Delivery to the following Recipients was aborted after 0 second(s): contact@overstock-kitchen.com"  All phone calls to the phone number on record [(703) 670-9884] now only result in a 'fast busy'.

Our purchase was paid via MoneyPak as directed on the Overstock Kitchen website as their way of keeping prices low. We've reached out to MoneyPak, and all they can tell us is the funds were pulled on 4/11/14, but they will not provide the name(s) of the individual(s) who pulled the funds without a subpoena and an official police report.

Our inability to contact Overstock-Kitchen and MoneyPak's reluctance to proactively cooperate have us thinking this whole thing is nothing but a scam.  Formal complaint and request for investigation placed with the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia, Consumer Affairs, on 5/5/14.  Outcome pending.
