Pace Financial Resources ripoff - contest scam Scarborough Ontario

Well written award letter with just enough intrigue in the verbiage to get you to reply. Scam! - they send you a check, you deposit it in your bank and then you are supposed to send them a lesser amount as a "2% administration charge". I had the sense to wait until their check cleared. Of course it didn't - drawn on a California maintenance firm's account. They are counting on someone to get greedy and sent them their "fee" before the check clears. In this case I lost $10 return service fee. If I had done what they asked, I'd have been out $7,720!!!
