This ripoffreport website is a very inappropriate medium for persons to voice personal attacks on people or businesses and it should never be trusted for accurate information on persons/businesses because it is primarily anonymous and uncensored.

Douglas Rian Elizabeth Jacobson and PACE, LLC, were unfairly attacked in this rant as was CFLA and its members, officers, and employees.

The individuals referenced above are very passionate people who truly want to help homeowners in foreclosure.

They do good work, and make an effort to be (1) Honest, (2) Fair, and (3) Reasonable.

To call them LIARS, FRAUD, CHEATERS, etc, is in appropriate.

I hope they can develop themselves into a successful business.  They are smart people!

Martin Luther King once stated:

PACE, LLC is a good company if you are a homeowner in foreclosure and need help.  I would recommend them to you as i have done before and will do henceforth!

I too could ask my grand-daughter to hold down a button and fill a page with a copied comment but I won't.
    Doug and Beth at PaCE or Professional Compliance Examiners, LLC saved our home from a fraudulent forclosure. They are recognized as experts by the court we were in and the Judge experessed his trust in their work. They rocomended an attorney should we desire to hire him and we did.  My first meeting with them was about an hour and I was filing papers in court to stop the sale of our home that afternoon.
    There is nothing that a sane person could or would say about the work these two do or did exept that they saved our home.
... now what was your point again?.... Thats what I thought.

It is hard for me to believe that one unethical individual, Andrew Lehman,  can write such horrible lies about our friends Doug and Beth and have it published on this website which is designed to help consumers....so much for quality control... Shame on you...do not believe what he has written. For several years my brother and his family have been battling to save their home from foreclosure. Many in the mortgage industry take advantage of consumers and my brother fell victim to a firm by the name of Aurora Loan Services (owned by Lehman Brothers). ...at least we think they own the loan at this point. Time and again they have tried to foreclose on my brother even after he made the additional payments requested and sought hard to modify his loan. Anyway, he continued to get the run around so he sought assistance from Doug and Beth. They were critical in helping him stay the foreclosure, understand how he was being mistreated the past few years by Aurora and the predecessor mortgage companies and long story short.......saved his home. If you are in danger of losing your home or need someone to help you understand how your mortgage company may be taking advantage of you........fight back and-contact Doug and Beth at Pace LLC. Do not pay attention to the jerk that wrote the 3 reports on this website. Thanks again Doug and Beth, Mike and the girls will never forget what you have done for the family!!

As a long-time PACE client, I read the posted complaints against the firm, and found them to be not credible, as well as disturbing in nature.  Over the past year, PACE has assisted me with getting my foreclosure dismissed and they continue to assist in my Loan Modification process with stellar representation and professionalism.  Highlights of my experience follow:
 
Our initial meeting in 03/10 yielded not just a fact-finding discussion, but tangible action which stopped my pending forclosure on the spot.  This was achieved through a combination of a careful and detailed interview process and telephone discussions with the involved Lender and Substitute Trustee.  PACE ascertained that a wrongful foreclosure was underway by a Lender that  used improper documentation to start the foreclosure process, and incredibly, no longer owned my mortgage note.

Additionally, PACE performed an analysis of my financial situation during the initial meeting to ensure I qualified for the government's homeowner's assistance program (HAMP). After verifying my eligibility for HAMP, I was guided to accurately complete the application for same.  At the conclusion of our first meeting, I had a complete understanding of my personal foreclosure situation and a path forward via Loan Modification. I cannot adequately express the relief, peace of mind and hope for a successful resolution I now had as a result of PACE's vigorous and competent care. 

As I then learned through personal experience, the Loan Modification process can be lengthy.  Over the past year, PACE has steadfastly communicated with my Lender, via my authorization, to ensure that proper procedures are being followed.  PACE has also served as an Expert Witness for me in two separate court hearings to fend off the wrongful Lender's continued attempts to effect a foreclosure.  PACE's identification and exposure of fraudulent documentation used by the wrongful Lender in these hearings ultimately resulted in a complete dismissal of the foreclosure action against me. 

As an active client, I have found the highly-principled individuals at PACE to be passionate champions for me, and I highly recommend their services.  I suspect the nasty and ridiculous comments come from parties PACE blew the whistle on, because that is something PACE does which I personally observed during the handling of my case.  PACE's Linked In information actually lists one of their specialties is whistleblowing on the bad apples out there

They are as aggressive against the flim flam operations as they are advocates for people like me.   I would be happy to serve as a reference for any serious inquiries.

Anyone reading this latest bizarre tirade can see that it says it is issued from Certified Forensic Loan Auditors (CFLA), LLC.  The President of CFLA is Andrew P. Lehman—so it's a no-brainer that the writer lies by saying he does not know a “Mr. Lehman”.  Mr. Lehman is well-known to all CFLA employees, especially those he has not paid, those who resigned, and those he left at the Los Angeles CFLA office as he bolted for Texas, with the California State Bar, the California Attorney General’s Office and the L.A. District Attorney’s office hot on his heels for, among other things: his unauthorized practice of law; deceptive consumer practices; false advertising by a business; failure to register CFLA as a mortgage consultant and failure to pay the required $100,000.00 bond, etc.

These rantings are reminiscent of Jack Torrance as played by Jack Nicholson in the “Shining”.  Jack Torrance typewrote ‘All work and no play make Jack a dull boy’ over and over again while losing his mind.  Mr. Lehman’s actions are a cry for professional mental health intervention—the man advertises ‘The Law Office of Andrew P. Neither Andrew P. Lehman/Certified Forensic Loan Auditors/'Marcus' has ever specified facts about, nor detailed instances of our having committed, any of the things in his mantra of fraud, lying, and stealing'--however, we and others have reported Mr. Lehman and his company for specific instances of each of those things, substantiated by factual evidence.  The proof is at:

As the co-owner of PaCE, LLC, I’m dismayed at viewing this barely-literate and contrived garbage posted on a website designed to help consumers.  PaCE has never had any business dealings with anyone named ‘Marcus’ from Culver City, and we suspect the author of this rambling, incoherent and false tirade is one Andrew P. Lehman of Certified Forensic Loan Auditors (CFLA).
As my business partner, PaCE co-owner Doug Rian, issues his own rebuttal, I am taking this opportunity to also respond.  This complaint of ‘Marcus’s is a feeble attempt by Mr. Lehman to retaliate at our company for holding Mr. Lehman and Certified Forensic Loan Auditors accountable for reneging on contractual payments to us.  Mr. Lehman is inconvenienced by the formal complaints that PaCE, LLC, has submitted against him and his company to the California Office of Attorney General in two (2) separate complaints filed, respectively, 2/2/11 and 2/6/11; to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office 2/2/11; and to the State Bar of California 2/2/11. 
PaCE’s bringing to light Mr. Lehman’s demonstrated deceptive consumer practices is based on considerable documentation accompanying complaints to each of those agencies.  That Mr. Lehman does not possess a JD as he advertises, as he never graduated from the law school he briefly attended, is at the heart of his inability to honor his and his company’s written contracts, as he signs them ‘Andrew P. Lehman, JD’.  Think of Leonard Nimoy signing contracts ‘Leonard Nimoy, Vulcan’ to appreciate the absurdity.
For the record, as ‘Marcus’ seems to reside under the same desk that Andrew Lehman inhabits to shield block the light of day and lucid, grounded reality, Doug Rian was not fired, has not committed fraud, and has not violated any ‘code of ethics’.  On the contrary, Doug Rian legally terminated his contract with Andrew P. Lehman and Certified forensic Loan Auditors, reported the documented fraud committed by Mr. Lehman and his company, and upheld the code of ethics mandated by Mr. Rian’s certifying agency, National Association of Mortgage Underwriters (NAMU), in ceasing any independent contracting affiliation with Mr. Lehman and reporting Mr. Lehman.
Further, PaCE—owned by myself and Mr. Rian--assists homeowners and as court qualified experts appears in numerous transcripted hearings testifying on behalf of those homeowners who seek to negotiate the terms of their mortgage loans and who are defending against the foreclosure of their homes. No one in this company, Mr. Rian included, is an attorney, nor has anyone in it ever alleged to be an attorney.  As a testifying expert, Mr. Rian’s credentials are vetted and scrutinized each time he appears in court. 
Mr. Rian has, however, worked with attorneys over the past 25 years—including two attorneys general and including others who are senior-level elected officials.  His academic background includes his completing law school coursework as part of the Master’s Degree he obtained from a tier one law school, and completing American Bar Approved coursework in a paralegal program.  Perhaps this troubles Mr. Lehman, who was unable to graduate from a 4th tier law school.
Mr. Rian does not claim to have a ‘Mortgage Securitization Auditor’ certification but only the NAMU certification, which can be confirmed by visiting the NAMU website member directory.  There is no certifying body for a ‘Mortgage Securitization Expert’ that ‘Marcus’/aka Andrew P. Lehman refers to.  That certification made up by Mr. Lehman refers to the ‘certification’ given by Mr. Lehman’s company, Certified Forensic Loan Auditors—go to their website and I think you’ll see Mr, Lehman’s invention.  Certified Forensic Loan Auditors does not have a certifying body but it appears to ‘certify’ those who take its 24 hour ‘Mortgage Securitization Auditor’ course.

Neither I nor Mr. Rian have given permission to Mr. Lehman or his company to include our names in any listings indicating Mr. Lehman’s company’s ‘certification’ called ‘Mortgage Securitization auditor’ or ‘Mortgage Securitization Expert.’  In fact, we warned both Mr. Lehman and the attendees to Mr. Lehman’s company’s seminars that we conducted about Mr. Lehman’s bogus ‘certification’ thing.
