Pacific Marketing Solutions of Trabuco Canyon, CA and/or Rancho Santa Margurita, CA along with Global Access, Inc. of Boca Raton, FL advertised for a vending machine "business opportunity" back in 2000.
I invested $5400, thereby going into debt, so as to put a revenue generating system in place to fund a new venture. I received vending machine equipment worth maybe some $1000. Pacific Marketing Solutions, who was supposed to find profitable locations for my equipment made a total of ONE phone call from an agent. I sorrily missed that phone call.
It's been impossible to find a real person at Pacific Marketing Solutions by phone. I finally gave up. Recently, I tried calling again. For once, a real person answered, saying that he's in "just about every day." Hah! Who was he kidding! Furthermore, I've tried calling Global Access, who sold me the vending machines. Likewise, I received no answer. Being located far from both Florida and California, it is not easy for me to use other means.
Also, something in their literature stated that if I have cause to sue, that such would have to be in their own state. Surely, this is no accident. Who knows what this scam duo did with my $5400.
Hence, here is a fair warning: if you see an ad in the classifieds of your local newspaper for a "business opportunity," particularly involving vending machines, forget it!
