Here is how to respond to Card Services

AUTHOR: Tagurit - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, December 04, 2011

Yep - good old Card Services scam at it again.  Here is the info  you need to pursue this.  If any of the originating #'s are 206-496-0414, 360-529-6190, 503-468-5545, or 971-220-1984 or phone #'s that appear to come from the Washington State, Oregon State area then these are most likely the work of an illegal telemarketing company called PacificTel.  Not the legitimate telephone company but a scammer telemarketing company owned by Stephen Hamilton.  Mr. Hamilton is the confirmed owner of PacificTel who is the confirmed owner of these phone #s' originating the robo-dialed illegal telemarketing calls to people who's numbers are on the national do not call list.

His direct # is 310-895-0574 with a supposed business address of 12228 Venice Blfd. #559 Los

Angeles CA 90066 which appears to be some scummy apartment area in East LA.   If you need a legit address for your complaint or to serve him papers try 3721 Ocean View Avenue  Los Angeles, CA 90066 STEVE ANDELA HAMILTON FAMILY TRUST HAMILTON TRS  EST

Total land value: $365,218

Total building value: $241,978

Total value for property: $607,196

Recording date: 07/30/2008

Year built: 1940

Effective year built: 1943

Area of property: 1,159 square feet

Assessment for fiscal year: 2008/2009

Other than calling Mr. Hamilton directly on his 310 area code phone to complain, you're best bet is to file a complaint with this information with (1) the FCC, (2) the PUC in the State in which you reside, and (3) the Attorney General in the State in which you reside.  Use the above information and follow through as this is the best way to shut down this type of scammer - before he manages to find someone to fall for his ruse.

This person and this company are nothing but a pure scam as they are calling random people under the guise of lowering their credit card rates and asking for that person's credit card #, bank account #, etc. so they can take money without providing any services.   This scam has been around for a while and keeps popping up under new perpetrators.
