This company is a rip off! We decided to go through them to bring in more clients. They asked for $3000 dollars for the first month and $1500 each month after. Which is relatively fair, IF they were doing what they claimed.

Instead of clients, we were bombarded with telemarketing calls, calls from other countries, people trying to reach a credit card company to report fraudulent charges and many people wanting to report spam mail. Upon cancelling after wasting so much valuable time and money, The founder, Marty, sent an offensive email attacking the people that work here. And threatening to remove our listing from various sites we paid for ourselves as well as disconnecting our phone number.

Marty also refused to give us back our account information on our Google web pages, as well as your YouTube page "so we didn't sign with another company"

Im posting this to warn other small business' to run if these people call you.
Check into any marketing company before you sign.

Especially these thief's!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wow...What a Gross Misrepresentation

AUTHOR: Page One Management - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, March 26, 2013

First of all I am saddened by the report given here by an employee of a roofing company in salt lake city who used our services for only a few months.

This report is clearly not true. For example, they claim that once they decided to cancel our services, we threatened to remove listings from sites they paid for....simply not true by any means, we know of no such paid listings, they certainly never shared any paid listings with us.

And, what is interesting, is that they post this review without even having the integrity of identifying themselves in the report!

And they mentioned we disconnected their phone number?.....This is a total misrepresentation of what happened.....how could we disconnect their phone number? we are not the phone company, nor did we ever have any access (we never even talked about or do we ever have access to anyone's phone number).

We did provide them with a specific tracking number, provided by us, and tied to what we were providing for them, which they paid for while they were a client...so we could track our results and record each call, so they could use them for internal training........and of course, when they cancelled our services and they quit paying, they were no longer using the tracking number....

Did they expect to keep getting this paid-for service without paying? I don't understand why they would expect that and further, use this forum to try to discredit us and slander our good name?

I never would send any emails attacking anyone ever! I have on file every communication with this customer and can assure you that this is a blatant lie by this person.

We did communicate to them in our training (after sharing with them, their recorded phone calls) that having someone who is not fluent in English (as the case showed by recording their calls), was causing some confusion with the callers and perhaps they should address this issue as a customer service opportunity to improve their front office and first time caller experience. (by the way, the owner Dyman Brady, agreed with me on this issue, but added that this person does so much good for them, that they will keep using her on the phone, even if it costs them business - which is totally their call, all we do is report....we dont make the news, we report it).

It is still unbelievable to us that this customer would expect us to just "turn over" all of the work we do for them "behind the scenes" while they were paying for services.......It was explained very clearly to everyone, up front....that if you like what we are doing and want to remain on Page ONE of the search engines, then keep paying us....if not, feel free to cancel at anytime!

We have no long term contracts, only performance. So, this client (after cancelling our services) wanted to keep using what we have behind the scenes (our proprietary processes) , to keep them at the top, after, they quit paying us!? How is that fair?

To anyone I know, that business model would never fly! Wow, I don't know of any business that operates this way! What business would give you services for FREE?

We love our customers and take pride in the excellent work we provide for each and everyone of them...........

I take it very personal that this person uses such defamatory language in their report and am saddened that they would stoop to such low levels when the truth is closer to the fact that they just couldn't pay their bills through the winter due to the nature of their business (a roofing company with little or no business in the Utah winters) and wanted out ("we are going to do this SEO work in-house, so we dont have to pay anyone outside for this service during the winter").

There are certainly better ways to approach this than to slam someone's business. It appears to us, that they wanted to take all the work we were doing for them and have their new "inside" person use it without paying for it, and keep the results they were paying us for!

Never at any time, did the owner, Dyman, ever reach out and discuss this with anyone here at Page One.

I am sorry that this client feels so wronged and I do (and everyone here at Page One) wish them the very best in the future.

NOTE: This false and untrue review has caused us great concern........that someone could misrepresent/slander/defame our company and the truth and put in on a public site, at our expense. We are prepared to defend our reputation are currently exploring our options legally to have this company who posted it remove it immediately.
