Panasonic Energy Of North America Company Rewards Program Scam sparks NV

PAnasonic Energy Of Noth America has a points reward program meant to recognize employees when they do something that is worth of note. It's called "Bravo points rewards". It's a scam. Here's the math. I have 2700 bravo points which the company treats like income and is taxed.

Thus far I have been charged 135.00 in taxes on my 2700 bravo points. Example, a cordless phone on the Bravo site is 3800 points. but can he bought new on E bay for 58.00 shipped. So basically, the Bravo site can charge any amount for products and value the points at any amount they want. At 33% tax rate, the 135 they charged me in taxes should make the 2700 points worth about 400.00.

Finally, the phones actual value is 58.00, I have 2700 bravo points valued in theory at 400.00 and they want 3800 points for the phone which would be a theoretical value of 572.00 for the phone. As a side benefit, if you don't have enough points to get something, you can combine points with cash to get what you want.

This is one of the most transparent scams I have ever seen. I could have bought two and a half phones with just the taxes alone and cannot buy even one phone with the points I have. If I add cash with the points to get the phone, I am buying the phone with the the cash and they get my 135.00 in taxes for nothing.
