To all those deposit holders who are writing in to this site expressing their disappointment :This is a great forum to warn others and to vent but not significant enough to get results. I am also a deposit holder but am not satisfied to sit around talking about it and not naive enough at this point to believe that Paragon ever had legitimate intentions.
Go to google ; type in some of the names of people Bill Gale has had either working for him or somehow associated with Paragon when the sales effort was heavily in place.
(Lyle Wexler,Larry Webman just for starters-)
You will see that their back grounds and prior company success stories were not exactly squeeqy clean.
"Professional artists" is what you might call this group.
Look at the people that were making promises to us about building our dream home on behalf of Paragon.
This is just a quick wake up call to any one who still may be in dream land
but let's move on .
If we are going to remain anonymous on this website, fine- we can still use
our collective power to get results.
There are no more people out there for Paragon to rip off .
The damage to us has been done pure and simple.
The real question is "What can we all do constructively to get our hard earned deposits back ?
I have a solution and I want everyone to join together .
I have spoken with the Fl. attorney general's office .
The Florida attorney general states that they have" not received enough complaints from vicitms to justify the resources to pursue Paragon."
They need large numbers of complaints.
If there are possibly hundreds of victims out there ,the florida attorney general
needs to have a lot more complaints on their desk to take true investigative
and legal action. Call everyone you know that has a lot and tell them what
we need to do becuase as time gos on, chances will get slimmer and slimmer of getting our money back. ( Forget about calling them in yr 5 and
asking for your money back. If you can't reach them now, where do you think they will be in 2 more years?)
What I am asking you will not vost us a dime- only a bit more effort.
No attorneys need to be involved as an attorney will only collect more fees from you
and in the end ,we will get stopped at the pass with a myriad of legal bureacracy.
I have already tried with an attorney so don't waste your time with attorneys .
Paragon knows it will cost us thousands and thousand of dollars in legal time
to go after them and on one will bother. They are all laughing at us knowing no one will invest the money and time and that class action suits could take years.Meanwhile they are being unjustly enriched with our hard earned funds.
People: stop sitting in "lala- land" still believing that your dream home or lot will become a reality and that the only reason there are delays are becuase everything is done on "Tico time" -not true! I have personally seen other
non Paragon related developments go up successfully in the last few years having traveled there numerous times.
So have you had enough with my tyrades?
Do you really want to see our us legal system help us as tax payers?
Do you want to make sure Paragon is pressured to the max to return your deposit?
Here is what we all must do as soon as you get off this website.
1 .Call the Seniors vs crime unit in Coral Springs Florida at 954-340-4168.
(address ;2801 Coral Springs drive, Coral Springs, Florida 33065)
By the way, you do not have to be a "senior" . I am not.
This is a special volunteer group
fostered by the Florida attorney general and they are in the county in which
Paragon's Hollywood office is located in.
Speak with Fay Staub the manager and request she fax or mail you the simple 2 page
complaint form related to a case against Paragon Properties in Hollywood Fl.
2. Submit the forms to Bob Glazer. (He is the one who deals with Paragon cases.) within 48 hours with copies of all your agreement for deed.
DO NOT PROCRASTINATE EVEN ONE DAY GETTING THIS PACKAGE BACK TO HIM.
3. Call and follow up on the friday of the week you submit your package .as Bob is only in on Fridays. If he is not in ,speak with Stanton who also knows Paragon quite well.
Tell him you want to make sure they are collecting all these additional new complaints
(That is a 3 minute call to make sure they got your package.
Best investment we can make at this point. )
4.We must get 90 more complaint packages filed in addition to the ones
Seniors vs crime has now.
Once we get to 90 , we should be good to go.
The Deputy regional director, Al Payne , can contact the Florida attorney general's office and forward all the complaints. I will personally follow up with him
once I know here are 90 complaints at Seniors vs Crime.
Al Payne is aware of the Paragon firm but his hands are tied from escalating this.
Why ? becuase we as consumers have not given him a serious enough reason
in numbers to go after Paragon. I was personally told by Seniors vs crime that
at the point there are a total of about 100 cases , the complaint count will be significant for the Fl. Atty general to take action and launch a full scale.
I urge you all to take action today on this matter because I firmly believe
there are power in numbers.

I filed my Paragon Property complaint on May 2008 but have not followed the site in some time. Providence ? led me to check it out over the weekend and found the suggestion to call Seniors vs Crime which I did first thing this morning. Complaint forms will be mailed to me and I will return copies of my unsuccessful quest for my deposit refund. So there will be one more bullet in the Paragon Properties gun. I have stage IV cancer and have written Bill Gale that I'm not dying until I get my money back. I can't take it with me but I can direct where it will go i.e. NOT Bill Gale, Esteban Soto C, or any Paragon Property people.

I've also been victimized by this group of thieves. I'd recently found out that Larry Webman was also behind the Paragon Properties scam and my apologize to all of you.
He is also the owner of another property development in Costa Rica called Paradise International Properties of Costa Rica. www.pipofcr.com I've been victimized by this group which includes his attorney Gene S. Rosen. I've also found out that they have been convicted of previous criminal fraud charges in the past. In my case however, they have sold lots in Costa Rica that they could never provide proof of ownership. They proceed to ask potential buyers to place a large deposit down on the property with the balance due months later. They too date still have NOT developed the land. My guess is because they never planned to complete the project and simply take the money that was to be used to complete the infrastructure. Beware anyone that has been involved with this group.
Purchasing property in Costa Rica is risky, but I have invested in other developments that have done everything they said they would, such as the developer Costa Developers. They have 3 flourishing developments Montana, Esterillos and Reserva.
If there is any way I can help you Paragon Property victims please let me know...for I have been scammed out of a large amount of money related to Larry Webman and is intentions to steal from investors.

Call me silly but before I put a deposit down on my home, I checked out the builder 100 ways to Sunday.
A simple search for Paragon Costa Rica, the first result was this January 2005 news article. http://www.amcostarica.com/010505.htm
Notice where back in 2005 it said "The company markets one-acre vacant lots near Parrita for $19,900. However, in an unusual twist, instead of providing a deed to the property, the company actually sells a Costa Rican corporation that owns rights to a one-acre parcel."
Do what you need to get your deposit back BUT at the same time count you blessings that you didn't build yet.
Can you imagine if you spent money to build a home then found out you don't own the land? It would be like a Florida Mobile Home park except in this case, your home cant be picked up and moved.

To all those deposit holders who have stepped forward in the last 2 weeks
and followed the action steps listed on this site between Oct 27- 29th ,
your efforts are to be applauded !!!!! (with regard to contacting the florida
seniors vs crime office.)
Many additional complaints have already been filed with the Seniors of Crime unit in Coral Springs since 0ct 29th. 2009
I monitor the weekly progress and was told by Snrs. Vs Crime '
personnel that they were impressed how many people came forward .
So congrats on deciding to unite as 1 power force . They asked me how did his happen so quickly after months of silence. I simply said becuase 'these people finally
see a clear path to follow and are alll united on one single mission!
So to those who have not yet stepped forward becuase perhaps they think this is a wasted effort and it is not worth bothering.with. WRONG !!!!!!!!
Once we have enough complaints filed,a meeting will be scheduled
thru the Seniors vs Crime unit and deposit holders so we can jointly
and democratically discuss the progress as well as the strategy
to reach our ultimate objective. PAYDAY !
So doif you w not expect to get your deposit back if you are not part of this
action force group.
Go ahead and follow the steps referred to in the posted comments placed
regarding Paragon Properties of Costa Rica on Oct. 27 and 29th.
Thanx to all those who have done so and make sure to check this website weekly.
I will also be putting a blog together so deposit holders can stay in touch
and read up to date comments.

Roger may be all ears and should be aware of this problem with Paragon.
The more big league players in the US attorney's office who know the wonderful name of Paragon Properties of Costa Rica (and all their affliates) ,the more pressure we put on the situation. LEVERAGE ! LEVERAGE ! LEVERAGE !

2. Bryan Burrough- was and may still be a
writer for Vanity Fair Magazine who
exposed Lou Pearlman and his investment schemes to the publiic as well as
to the legal forces in the government who eventually took the perpetrators
down. Lou Pearlman who was living in Wyndmere Florida in a 25,000 sq ft mansion
and yet US govt investigative forces found him hiding out in Bali on the other side of the world.
If they can get him in Bali , they can deal with Paragon and their associates.
Please note, there is no connection between the individual referenced above
and Paragon Properties . It serves only as an example that if you get to certain individuals in the media as well as the right people in the government it is possible to penetrate even the most serious and large scale white collar criminals.
As consumers, we have more power than we are aware of .
Let's direct this power in every possible way to get to the bottom of our problem with Paragon Properties of Costa Rica until we are all satisfied.
