I found partnerwithpaul.com today (by receiving a response to a Craigslist ad I posted) and was reading through it. It almost seemed pretty convincing, especially with a video showing that "Paul" made over a million dollars in 2008 on the internet (even though it still had that "scam" vibe to it). So I looked it up on here and found that people only had bad things to say about it.

So thankfully I haven't wasted any money with this company, but I wanted to list a few lies I discovered right there on the page:

>On the first page he claims he is only looking for a small group, and near the bottom it says there are only 84 spots left. After signing up I went back to that page (in another browser) and it still said 84 spots left. Obvious lie #1

>On page two it's the same thing again, this time claiming that "When this page loaded there were just 79 positions left. You must act quickly." Reload the page all you want it will still say 79. Obvious lie #2

>Underneath that it says "Register in the next 15 minutes and get a free.." blah blah blah. I don't think I need to say that if you reload the page, the timer starts all over again. Obvious like #3

>Here's the best one though. In the frequently asked questions section, it says the following:

"6. Is PartnerWithPaul.com registered with the BBB?

This website, PartnerWithPaul.com, is not currently a BBB member for one very good reason - they require a website to be at least 1 year old before it can join the BBB Online program, and this website doesn't yet meet that criteria. When it does we'll apply for BBB Accreditation."

So I looked into it. I looked up the whois information and found the following:

Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
Domain Name: PARTNERWITHPAUL.COM
Created on: 30-Dec-07
Expires on: 30-Dec-09
Last Updated on: 04-Nov-08

So that's obvious like #4. The site has been around for a year and a half. I REEEALLLY doubt they will be filing with the BBB anytime soon...
