In late November 2007, I bought a wig from Pat Brown a salesperson that works for hairillusions and i WAS TOLD it would be ready in 4 weeks by Christmas 2007. I paid 5125.00 plus 285.00 plus shipping, a small fortune.

One month later, I wrote them to see where my order was and I was told it would be shipped out by January 31st. I was told her mother was on life support.

After waiting and waiting and wanting to cancel my order and get a refund I kept being put off by this person saying it was being mailed and it would be in the mail. Then Pat had told me it got lost in the mail at this point I was told it would be two more weeks than they
were going to send the wrong color. Now it is the middle of March 2008 still no wig.

Well finally it arrived and the quality is just terrible 4 months of waiting. If you understand anything about wigs the hair was bleached and then toned the hair quality is terrible and it certainly is not virgin hair. Bleach left on matrix of wig. the matrix is not invisible as they state on the website. It was wet
and the hair knots are bumping all over the wig
I have almost total hairloss, this is a neccessity for myself. I have contacted the seller so many times and I asked if I could return it for a refund, I cannot afford to send it back and have it repaired ach time this go through Customs I have to pay almost 700.00 in customs
which is fine.

This should have warned me that these people were shoddy and that it was very risky to deal with them, but I guess I was just very gullible and they certainly took advantage of that. After receiving my cancellation notice, Egypt Lawson again contacted me to say they had received my order and would be sending a payment receipt.

It is unbelievable how many trolls there are on the Internet just waiting for some unsuspecting fool to become their prey. I hope this report enlightens others to BEWARE of HAIRLINEILLUSIONS!!

hairlineillusion not responsible

AUTHOR: Cheryl - (Canada)

POSTED: Thursday, April 03, 2008

hairlineillusion today my wife today she is having chemo.
The product that was promised to her was a Matrix Wig made by hairlineillusion. Hairline Illusion has explained that these two orders
placed by Pat Brown Have not been fulfilled. The first order was cancelled and the second order was not completed as well, I wish to remove any wrong doing by Hairlineillusion they had no knowledge of this whatsoever.
She admitted by email today that another company made the wig.

I on behalf of my wife have forwarded all
documentation to hairlinelineillusion of direct emails confirming that my wife was indeed
getting a matrix wig made by hairlineillusion not
another company.

At no time did Miss Brown discuss that Cheryl was
having another company make this wig until today March 31st.

My apologies to hairlineillusion on behalf of my wife.
Egypt Lawson had also no part in this as well. My apologies to Egypt Lawson

Hailineillsuions has agreed to look into this matter for me while my wife is recovering from her treatment and I need help with this matter.

Pat Brown is only I guess a distributor perhaps for this company.

I expect a complete refund or what was promised a
Matrix wig.
I have all emails and receipt from Pat Brown that this would indeed be a Matrix Wig through Paypal.

I have also gone through the many many emails to see if my wife missed anything and she did not..;.

This report is unprecedented, false and complete slander. I am the victim, not Ann Cheryl Dow!

#1 Cheryl On November 28th, 2007 Ms. *** read my ad offering a Tier 3 Matrix Wig 18 inches for $3,800 I purchased from hairline illusions and contacted me to see if I can get a wig produced for her 36 inches long.

#2 I called all my suppliers and found a wig maker who would make Ms. ***'s wig she desired for an additional $1,200 because of the long length human rare hair. So I ordered the wig from the wig maker so Ms. *** can get the same good quality. The wig was made with virgin human hair toned to the specific color ordered by Ms. ***. The human hair had to be toned because the hair is rare and 39" hair had to be used and the color was more ash than cinnamon. This long length hair wig normally takes up to 4-5 months to complete, but I was able to order the wig in a little over a month because I order from the wig maker quite often and she was available at the time.

#3 After the wig was completed, it was mailed to Ms. ***. Unfortunately, (it was out of my hands - I had no control over the USPS shipment error) the wig took longer than expected for Ms. *** to receive it and I had to file a lost claim with USPS and order another wig from another manufacturer, hairline illusions, paying over $7,000 for a rush order to satisfy Ms. *** because the other wig maker wasn't available and hairline illusions had the hair in stock at this time. So at this point my $270 original profit was gone and I had to pay an additional $6,730 out of my pocket to satisfy this order but I was determined and maxed out my new credit card. I emailed all confirmations to Ms. *** about the new order that has been placed so she new about the new order putting me in a bind to satisfy her order.

#4 During the production of her new wig, the original first wig that was made by the wig maker was returned to me and I immediately re-shipped it to Ms. ***, expressed and she did receive it a couple days later.

#5 The wig Ms. *** received was made by an independent wig maker not hair illusions. Ms. *** never received a wig from hairline illusion because it wasn't finished.

#5 I do not work for hairline illusion, I have a wholesale account and distribute their wigs from time to time.

#6 When Ms. *** recently contacted me, I offered to correct the problem and it would only take 1 more week even after she has cut the lace and warn the wig.

#7 All she has to do is wash the wig hair a few times to remove the excess toner on her wig. This wig is 36 - 37 inches long and the wig maker told me that a few washes would correct the problem.

#8 Then Ms. *** told me the matrix lace was too dark for her skin color. I only promote medium color lace because it's very popular. I even offered to get the base lightened for her and she replied with if I send her half of the money back, she will get her stylist to correct the problem. So she admits the problem can be corrected but just want me to give her a partial refund even though she is aware and have proof of the second order i placed with hair illusions maxing out my credit card. I don't know any one who would buy a wig this long, so selling it might take months even years if I find a buyer to get my money back.
