Patent Trademark Institute Of America ,PTI, Took $5,500.00 from me. Case was filed, need to know how to get desposition. Roslyn Heights, New York

Company had me send a payment of $2,500.00 to begin Patent Process. Money was sent via Credit Card, on May 25, 2004.

On July 9, 2004 sent Money Order in amount of $3,000.00 to complete Plane-2 of their United States Provisional Application for Patent, which was $4,975.00.

From July 9, 2004 until September 15, 2005 had several telephone conversations with Mr. Pat Ralston (Consultant), telling me the progress of my Application. They issued me a File Number.

On about August I sent to Patent & Trademark Institute of America designs of my invention, and description of use for invention.

On May 12, 2005 received two packages, First package from A & F Inc, of Las Vegas, Nevada in reference to New Provisional Application for Patent. And Second package from Patent & Trademark Institute of America of Roslyn Heights, New York containing information packet titled United States / International Patent / Trademark / Copyroght Agreement.

On October 3, 2005 Received a package from United Licensing Corporation Inc., which contained Invention Advancement Agreement.

On October 20, 2005 received a letter from Law Offices of Galasso & Associates, LP of Auston, Texas. With an official Filing Receipt for the provisional patent application with the Application Serial Number 60/700,447 and a filing date of July 15, 2005, which was assigned by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

I did not hear from Patent & Trademark Institute of America for several months, and would visit their web-site, but never received a response from them. In July 2007 I visited their web-site and found a page that stated the U.S. Patent Office had filed a complaint against PTI and was being in receivership because of fraudulent business.

There was a link which sent me to the U.S. Patent and Trademark web-site, which had the complaints and filings which were under their jurisdiction, and the process that was underway.

I tried to go to the PTI web-site but it was no longer on the Internet. I have been trying to get information on the process of this filing, but have been unable to find any.

Went to the U.S. Patent and Trademark web-site on May 15, 2010 and could not find any results. All I want to know is how I can find out what has happened to this case.

At the time of may filing I lived at 8911 South Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90003. I have all the information and papers that I have received from Patent & Trademake Institute of America, and those others whom have contacted us.

How can I get information on the Legal Filing against Patent & Trademark Institute of America by The Government?
