They refused to acknowledge my child's disabilities, even as they are documented by their own evaluators, and two nationally recognized organizations.  And by denying his disabilities, he did not get any support, failed school, dropped out, and has become depressed.  Before he dropped out, if teachers didn't ignore him and his hand up for questions or to particpate, he was publicly ridculed by them.  So much so, that he become the class punching bag, in and out of most of his classes.  He was bullied and beaten by students in his classes and the school not only did nothing, The vice principal  intimidated my child by taking him into a closet at school and keeping him in their until he said he wasn't sure who kicked him. The school provided faked documents to investigators that it was not as reported and made the report go away - without ever talking to any member of the family.  

They lie all the time.  They even have a group of lawyers to help the staff concoct stories when they are questioned by authories.  They get a bunch of teachers to tell the same story and they even bring in consultants, who weren't even there to be witnesses.  They actually traumatize the child and let them get raped and kicked by other students. They do not even report it. They offer to call in the Police, and even when you talk to the police, an official report never shows up (the school has an officer under their control to not file reports). When they get a persistent family, and it takes years, and its really horrific what they have done, they will pay out $200,000 to the family not to file with the district attorney or take them to court. They want no paper trail.  PAUSD has made dozens of payout under the table, even when they are caught and promise not to do it again, they actually got busted for doing it again just 2 weeks later. They take the taxpayer money without approval.

Palo Alto practices ethnic and less than perfect people cleansing with a culture of group bullying and retaliation if you complain about not receiving your state and federally mandating special education support for disabled children.  The school district's response is that you are expecting too much from your child and maybe failure in school is all their capabilies enable.  They lie and make-up reports about your child. They remove pages where you have declined their one-size-fits all solution (all the special ed kids in one room - no matter what their challenges are - physical, emotional, who cares).  They use typical corporate bully tactics, and when you have them in a corner, they agree, then stall, change, cancel, and oh yeah, sorry school year is over.  They DO this year over year.  They will sue low-income parents because they know they can't fight it, so they leave and don't have to have their poor and disabled taking their raise money.  

This is a corrupt school district doing cleansing at the expense of poor, non-white, and disabled families.  It is corrupt all the way through to the education judges in the area.  These people are brutal and shameless selfish people who should not be in the education business.  There are plenty of places they can go that tolerate moral-less selfish greedy bullying psychopaths. They are listed as one of the top 25 school districts in the nation to get investigated and found guilty of civil rights violations.   Palo Alto schools are a myth. The only reason the schools rate high is that kids are tutored one-on-one for the material the year before so they can score in the top of the class.  It's highly competitive and the top students all cheat, so if you aren't going to be able to keep up in their techniques, there is no way you can stand-out.  Even our doctor told us, "No matter how much propaganda and fake programs the School District roles out, the culture and the administration's behavior doesn't change, that is why kids keep killing themselves here." For the safety of your children do not come here.
