Rented a car using Orbitz.  Best price was Payless.

Went to airport car rental office of Payless in San Diego.

Declined coverage since my home insurance provides coverage.  Payless insisted on SEEING MY HOME POLICY.  I said I dont bring my home insurance policy with me.  They said 'its required or you must buy our insurance'  effectively doubling the price.

I said I booked thru Orbitz.  They said this requirement is on our website.  Then they referred me to the website and waited for me to accept.

I went to the next car rental place.  Paid more but they did not ask for a copy of my policy.   THIS IS BAIT AND SWITCH.
