Payless Car Sales Mislead and lied too Tampa Florida

On Monday, August 4th I was contacted by a Salesman names Alex. Alex advised me that I was preapproved for a car loan of $ 18,000.00. I asked Alex if he had already viewed my credit. Alex repsoned " I viewed your credit score ". I told Alex that I did not have any money down and no co-signer. Alex advised me that there was no need for money down and no co-signer because of the amount that I made from my job and the length of my job. I told him as long as I did not need money down or a co-signer then I could be there on Tuesday, August 5th.

I arrived and looked at truck that had a sticker on it for approx $11,000.00. I was approched by Alex and went in side. He advied me that he needed to have my signature for them to pull my credit. I said " you told me over the phone that you already pulled it ", he responded with " well thats the company that refered you to us and that was your credit score, now we have to pull the entire thing to review it ". I signed it and then he advised me that he would be back.

I steped out side and then about 10 minutes latter he came out side and said " Richard, the Finance Manager needs to see you ", I said " I dont have money down and I dont have a co-signer, advise him that this was already established and you advised that those items was not needed ". He said " well thats not what it is about, he needs to see you at some point through the process ". So I figured that it was about me not being able to get a truck and that I would have to get a car, or another truck.

So, I figured that I would go in beings that Alex said that it wasnt about the down payment and a co-signer. When I went in, I was advised that I needed to put $1500.00 down due to my credit. I then advised him that I was told by Alex that it was not needed that I was already approved, he said " no that was preapproved we didnt see your credit yet ". So I advised him that he had just waisted my time and my friends time and gas that I come all the way from Plant City.
