I was selling a purse on eBay and the buy it now price was about $1420. A buyer contacted me saying she wanted to buy my purse if I would ship to Philippines for her. We agreed on a price for shipping and she bought the purse with another ebay account because she didn't want her husband to know she's shopping again.

After I sent her the bag via USPS address the buyer contact me by email after she got the bag saying the bag was "perfect" and she wanted to buy another one if I got it. I told her I don't have anymore bags and the day after that she filed a dispute in Paypal with "unauthorized charged". I was so confused and called Paypal right away. The didn't give me much answer then but about a week after they email me saying the dispute was closed and the charge came out authorized which means it was valid and the credit card wasn't stolen. The money that was on hold was wired to my bank account about $1375 minus the ebay fees.

Right after that the buyer (scammer) opened another dispute that said she didn't get the purse. I called Paypal many, many times and talked to so many agents and supplied them with all the information I had which was the receipt from the post office that has the buyer name on it and also tracking number and forwarded her emails to paypal.

Less than two weeks paypal sent me and email saying I was covered by their seller protection program because I sent all the information they needed. I also called an agent to confirm and she said I got nothing to worry. That was about a month ago and yesterday I got an email from Paypal saying the transaction has been "reversed" therefore they're taking money out of my account!! I was so furious and called right away. I spoke to the representative first and she wasn't much of a help so she offered me to speak to a supervisor. I was on the phone with that person for about 20 minutes saying why would they email me that I was covered by them and then retracted it!? The woman say "human makes mistakes" and that email was "an agent error" and there's nothing they could do. I HAD to pay over $1400 to Paypal.

The thing was I sent the purse to Philippines and the address wasn't a Paypal verified address so there were so many problems that I had countless phonecalls with them before they reviewed the information I sent and decided to protect me but a month after that I got an email saying "unfortunately, we have no further recourse to continue to dispute this chargeback on your behalf; therefore we will be debiting your account for the following reasons: We did not receive signed proof of delivery"

The receipt I sent to Paypal has that person name on it and it was the same name as in the emails and Paypal account. That person just wouldn't stop this scamming and don't know what to do since I don't live in the Philippines and Paypal has backfired me big time. They insisted that I had to pay. Why would they sent me that email and also the agent on the phone told me not to worry and a month later they are trying to take the money out of my account?? please help!
