Yesterday I was on a website that only required to choose Paypal to buy an online transaction. According to Paypal my password was incorrect, and I tried to recover it. I attempted 3 times to recover my password, but they have not send any replied e-mail messages. Then I had one last try today and still no replies.

I do not like Paypal because they send you repeatedly several e-mail messages several times/day and several times/week every week. It is very annoying and I do not know how to stop those annoying, repeatedly e-mail messages coming. Mostly they bug and threaten(I say) you that "if you ignore this message, they will suspend your account". Then they will fool you that it is a fake e-mail message. I checked the e-mail address, and it is Paypal's e-mail address. They will tell you it is a spoof mail, that is deceitful.

PayPal Phishing Schemes

AUTHOR: Eddie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 09, 2006

Please log in to your valid PayPal account immediately and change your information, after you have notified PayPal of your experience. Those emails you have received are scams and most likely your confidential information has been compromised. Someone attempted to access my account in a similar manner but I did not respond to their emails. However, after contacting PayPal it was discovered that someone had attempted to hack into my account anyway. Please protect yourself now and contact PayPal immediately. You will find them helpful and sympathetic.

Not from paypal. Those are phishing/scam emails

AUTHOR: Denny - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 09, 2006

Those are not from paypal. Paypal ONLY emails you when you have submitted a payment or have received payment concerning any transactions you make; and notices of updates to their policies.

They do not send out emails concerning your account; THOSE are PHISHING Emails. You need to familiarize yourself in how to identify what is a real email from paypal and what is not (look at the headers)

Manually type in Paypal.com into your browser to log into your account. if you clicked a link from a website (not paypal's) or in an email, you may have already fallend to a scammers trick.

DO this now. Make sure your account hasn't been compromised.
