My wife agreed to purchase a vacation package from Peabody Vacations for roughly $498 USD. After doing research and making a few calls to the companies they claim to be affiliated with, I came to the conclusion that this wasn't a legitiment company. I then attempted to contact the company VIA email and with the phone numbers they provided to ask for a refund. All attempts have been to no avail.
I've been left with no other options but to file a complaint with the State of Florida, and the BBB. Jeffrey Hirschkorn, the company owner, is a convicted fellon. The records of this are in the public domain.
Luckily my credit card company protects against scams like this. Avoid this Scam company at all costs.
