I recieved an offer in the mail for credit with this company and I was in the market to rebuild my credit. I needed a new printer and figured this was a good way to get one and help my credit by being able to make small payments toward the purchase. I called in and was approved for $1800 credit. I thought that was pretty good since I was only going to need about $200 on a decent printer with their prices. I called in and placed my order and was told that the order would be out within 3 weeks. It was December 13, 2006 when I placed the order so I knew that it wouldn't be in my hands for christmas. So I figured, that's okay because it is a present to me for now. On December 26th I decided I may as well get a laptop to go with it for all my picture editing that I do.

So I called to see if the printer has shipped yet and they said no. I ordered the laptop and asked for them to ship it together. A few weeks and phone calls later my order still had not been shipped!! So I cancelled both orders. About a week later, I got a bill from GE Money saying that I owe for the purchases. I called them and told them that I cancelled the orders before they ever even shipped and the customer service person said that I needed to take it up with PeachDirect because PeachDirect had not sent them anything saying that the order was cancelled.

They also said that they would send me a dispute form because the billing would stay active until it is paid or until PeachDirect cancells it on their end. I checked online from my job and both orders said that they had been cancelled. I called to PeachDirect to see what was going on and why I was still getting billed for orders that I cancelled before shipment and they said it takes time to get GE Money up to date with theirs and that I'd have to make the payments in the meanwhile or it will affect my credit. I got upset and told them that I am not making payments toward something that I do not have and that they better do their job and get it cancelled. They still left me with the same talk. That I needed to make the payments and when the cancel order information was sent to GEMoney then I would get a credit. That Is BS. I am still fighting them.

My credit has gotten worse because of them. They have only credited me for laptop!!!! The printer is again "pending shipment". Don't ask me how it went from cancelled, back to an open order again. And even if it was not cancelled correctly on their system SHOULDN'T I HAVE RECIEVED A PRINTER BY NOW??!! I just called again today, and the "customer service" person was really nice, but couldn't figure out why it was not cancelled. Whatever honey. I just want their crap off my credit report and they better do it as it all started because of their company. I will never deal with them and I will make sure noone that I know deals with them, and now I'm letting you know as well.
